I just did another practice pricing on a Maverick and it seems the cost had gone up. It now includes an "acquisition fee," which I don't remember from before, that the fine print says is to cover the cost of setting up and administering the lease account. I would buy not lease it, but the "acquisition fee" is shown as part of the sell price.

That’s because the calculator on Build & Price defaults to leasing. If you change it to show financing costs, the acquisition fee (lease only) goes away.

I’m looking at an xlt with the 4K tow option, gas 2.0, lux, awd.
If I understand this correctly, invoice is:
Xlt: $21,835
4K tow: $693
Gas: $1009
Awd: $3074
Lux: $2181

Right?

Why does it seem like I would be charged twice for 300a (xlt w 2.0 & awd ), and 999 (2.0 )? Or am I incorrect in adding in option 999 for the 2.0, since it’s part of 300a?

help me understand this so I have a better idea of pricing.

Does anyone know if you can get body side molding to protect the sides from door dings by other drivers?

Now that I’m in my 60’s went for the Lariat Lux package, up till now would have not purchased the highest trim line and think the XLT is the best buy.

Will do what the roughly additional 50 features are for $9,735.
Wanted as my retirement and long driving trip vehicle. Even thou it's a lot of additional items, part of me says, ya - not really worth almost 10k but is what it is and wanted it.
