Hey, what do you guys put in the upper dash tray? I never use it and was wondering what you put there. I kind of avoid it since it is the sun and also can be seen easily from the outside. I like the idea of it but can't seem to find a purpose. Now I don't drive my Maverick a lot so I don't have a reason to carry too much stuff, so that's another reason. Thanks.

I use the left compartment for my Sunpass portable transponder when not in use. The right side I like to put my keys on when I need a place to set them down.

This 4k Rove for $79 is a great option. I bump the settings down to 1440p instead of 4k so it can record at 60fps and the quality is good at the normal price point, and extremely good for the current sale price.

Same price when I bought it on sale 2 months ago; so not an amazing Prime Day Deal, but each time it goes on sale it is only for a couple days and only seems to go on sale a couple times a year.

It will take 3rd party cards. They recommend their own cards for the extra profit and guaranteed compatibility.

You need to make sure the card is a higher U3 spec; most people who screw up only check for the Class 3 (U3) rating on a card, but lower end Class 3/U3 cards have write speeds of only 30mb/s which isn't compatible with any 4k/UHD recording device. As long as the card is rated for sustained write speeds of 90mb/s or better you should be fine. Typically it is notated as A2 or V90 on the packaging. I went with the one below, which was more premium than necessary as it is rated for 140mb/s, and it has worked fine for 2600 miles so far. Considering the lower class A3s only save you $5-10 or so, I'd much rather pay that small premium for known overkill.

The only use I've found for that top tray was to put easy pass on there on a recent road trip. Otherwise it's basically useless for me
