RE: Get less pay more; sadly that is the path most auto makers follow. I followed closely the evolution of Chrysler's PT Cruiser which like the Mav, was in short supply and high demand and assembled in Hermisillo MX. For example, in the third model year [2003] they removed the second horn, rear sway bar and engine dressup cover. Ford, in my 22 Lariat deleted the digital readout on the dual climate controls, deleted the sound absorbing engine cover and the wifi hot spot. Now for 2024 they deleted the keyless entry pad. All while raising prices. Sad
I know, because most other companies usually add more things and reduce the price each year.

Looks like I will have parts order a manual sliding rear window if I end up with a 24 vs. the 23 XLT I have ordered, honestly who’s the dumb a- - at Ford that discounted this but did not option the power version on the XLT? It is standard on the Lariat so why not option it for the XLT?
I agree its crazy they just totally deleted the manual slider but making the power version not available on the xl/xlt is their way of making key differences between different trim levels. Totally normal in the automotive world

Just went through the order guide.... I had been hoping that they would offer an AWD Hybrid option. Disappointed to see they didn't, then even more disappointed to see that they have removed options completely, like the door keypad and wiper de-icer, or made them only available in the Lariat like the sliding rear window, and of course we will find out later today just how much more all of these missing features are going to cost..... looks like I am going to start looking at other vehicles on the market..
My opinion. The Maverick is still a very good buy, but no longer the smoking hot deal it used to be.

If a SUV serves your purpose about as well as a small pick up, you have options. Like the RAV 4 (but when I looked last summer, it was impossible to find the bare bones model in my city), a couple of the Mazda models, a couple of the Suburu SUVs, maybe even the Toyota Corolla hatchback. And there is always the Ridgeline, which used to start at almost double the starting price of the Maverick, but now the price gap is less. All that said, I will be very surprised if most of the above mentioned competition does not have their own 2024 price increases.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one bummed about the keypad removal. When I ordered my truck I didn't want the damn thing, but now I use it daily!

I guess I'm going to have to learn to without it.
Damn my dealer for missing the 360 assist on my 2023. So, now to get it I have to order a 24.

My opinion. The Maverick is still a very good buy, but no longer the smoking hot deal it used to be.
That sums it up nicely. A small SUV will work almost as well for my needs. In my area I can get a 2022 Mazda CX-30 GT Turbo with 5,000 miles on it for $12K LESS than a Maverick XL. I recently came across a Subaru Forester with heated seats, mirrors, steering wheel, and wiper de-icer for $15K less than a Maverick XLT.

I know the pricing on new and used vehicles is insane right now, but I'm not sure if I am willing to pay so much more than MSRP for an average vehicle. If the availability and production issues get resolved the used value of these currently overpriced vehicles will plummet.

Indirectly with the private offer, it will likely offset the option price for the Hybrid engine. Not sure how much it will offset, but hopefully it will be enough to offset the Hybrid + Tax, as you will need to pay tax before the rebate(private offer) kicks in when taking delivery of your truck.
Not sure how other states calculate it but in Georgia fees such as delivery charge and dealer doc are taxed, but manufacturer rebates are subtracted from taxed amount.

Anybody else notice one of the seat colours shown is 'Desert Brown'? There is no other mention in the order guide if this is a package specific or trim level specific colour.

That is the standard color for the Lariat trim.

De-contenting after the first year of a car/truck is common throughout the industry. Most likely they base it on customer surveys and remove the items they can or shift others to packages where they can increase the price.

It is a tri coat which on other models is an $995 upcharge, and is listed as an additional cost option for the Maverick as well.
I haven’t gone through all the 19 pages but has it been mentioned the FX4 pack would get a price bump from $800 when combined with 4K?

After going through the MY24 order guide, glad I got my 23 XLT with FX4 the only package option chosen. Didn’t need the 4K since I don’t tow anything ever.

In CA, delivery or doc fees are not taxable, in another word "service/labor" are not taxable. Only tangible goods are taxable here except for unprepared foods and medicines.

And in this case, unfortunately the rebate gets taxed first before the rebate gets applied to the transaction.

Please confirm if we can we have Lariat Hybrid with Tremor Off-Road Package. It requires Advanced 4WD. So question becomes can we have Hybrid + Advanced AWD + Tremor Off Road in Lariat Trim
