Add me to the list of people passing.. I was seriously considering a Lariat Tremor to replace my '22 Lariat Lux, but the removal of windshield wiper deicer is actually important to me in winter as I park outside. I do remote-start but if we get freezing rain that doesn't always help. Yes, I have one of those windshield covers but if I forget to put it on or the wind is blowing it gets moved out of the way; not to mention the huge open space below the windshield where snow tends to accumulate.

The door keypad removal is also annoying - I have yet to use it as the keyfob is so handy, BUT it was nice to have as an option. Plus they didn't add anything new besides changing packages; no big screen, etc..

Maybe 2025 is the refresh like others predicted? We'll see..

2025 is the refresh, 2028 is redesign, with a new code name. It will go from P758 to P778 in April of 2027.

So funny, I can’t stand the keypads - I’m down for 90’s technology, but those things just seem chintzy to me.

I kind of agree with you. The look is completely outdated on modern Ford vehicles. The one on my Mav looks straight out of 1997......becasue it looks exactly like the one I had on my '97 Explorer.

On the other hand the one on my Mach-E is so well integrated you can't even tell it is there. I know in the end it comes down to cost but just remember not all keypads on the side of a Ford look like the one on a Mav.

Side profile is flush.

Then once you tap the B pillar the lights illuminate and you can enter your code.

FP is separate from the "Remote Start System" feature.

No, XLT with remote start doesn't get Lariat fobs.

Yes, it does get an XLT flip key with a remote start button.

Every Maverick and the majority of the current lineup (perhaps excluding some commercial vehicles) has FordPass Connect. That's not the remote start system. RSS includes a long-range antenna and different keys/fobs with a dedicated remote start button. FordPass requires you to consent to various data sharing and rely on an internet connection including the built-in AT&T 4G modem. RSS works directly via RF between your key and the vehicle.

Unless I'm farther than the long-range antenna reaches, I'd much rather use my fob to directly start the vehicle. It's faster and more reliable.
