The 400 watt inverter only allows 3.3 amps at 120 volts and cannot be used for items requiring pure sine wave supply.

Yeah, the Ford inverter is . The $20 options on Amazon are better.

well it looks Ford is about to get.serious about increasing Maverick production and this is what it looks like . 1st eliminate as many optional choices as possible, by this i mean that in order to facilitate production and logistics efficiency you want to eliminate all these '1 off' builds. this will increase the 1st time thru rate which means more vehicles that are built right the 1st time and(hopefully)fewer recalls, TSB's, etc,etc. like when Henry Ford said that "you can have any color you want as long as its black" this is what mass production looks like. they will have their different trims priced based on what features they can sell for a profit and if you want a given feature then you will be forced to buy whatever package Ford drops it into. its called Capitalism folks. we early adapters were able to make a lot of choices that later buyers wont be able to going forward. if this keeps up they'll still have to open up another Mav assembly somewhere in NA eventually.

No. Not silly at all. I'm so angry about now having to order a $39,000 Maverick (Loaded Lariat) so that I can interact with my dogs while they ride out back. I'm considering not ordering a Maverick next week. I've had a pre-order in the ready since September and I'm considering not even placing the thing next week... as My build has gone from $30k to $39k now. I can't even put into words how angry I am over the loss of a rear sliding window in the XLT trim.

Just order it with the solid rear window at 30K, then go down to your local auto glass place and see if they can order and install for you a maverick manual sliding rear window. Have them glue it in, and be done with it.

Looks like Ford has figured out what they need to do to make some money- damn them! They should just allow every possible combination and sell at a loss. They have admitted they need to make money on ICE vehicles to cover the loss on EVs. I'm sure eventually they would like to see the stock price improve also.

Now I have to put carpet in the garage for more protection for my 23 Lariat Lux Alto Blue with BAP, a keypad, and a leather steering wheel. Odd items all, for Ford to discontinue.

How are you going to $39,000 for the Lariat? Price is going to $34,500 unless you go for FX4 or Tremor which $30,000 wouldn't buy on a 2023. What else are you going to get with a sliding rear window? Under $30,000.

Maybe even Unicorns?

I had to replace my sliding window on an older F150. The window replacement people never could make it stop leaking. After market isn't better and sometimes not as good.

That's why you order one right through your ford parts department, and have the auto glass people install it.
