So I just got hybrid xlt a few weeks back, and haven’t needed gas yet, but in driving very carefully, I’m averaging 32.3 mpg in city driving. Although I’m happy to be in the 30’s, it’s not anything close to the 40. Do new vehicles take “adjustments” or “break in” before real mileage kicks in?

Sounds like mine, which is a week ahead of yours. Started out with July 17, then went to July 22, then week of July 19. It was built on July 20! So here’s hoping you are next week!

I recognize email from Ford on May 18 saying it will be the week of July 17. Then as it got nearer the date, it was pushed back to week of July 22, then back to week of July 19. On the 11th I was able to see the sticker in the window, and sure enough, it was built July 20..(just two days ago)…...

Thank you for the post! It looks like my/your dealer has our back! But the thing is, I did have a build date, and as I posted, just got built yesterday! Maybe the dealer hadn’t heard that. As they say, “Sometimes water doesn’t make it to the end of the row”…But I’m glad to get another!

My date changed as well. Originally it said week of July 17. Then it was also moved back to week of 22. I thought “oh well it’s the same week, so maybe no big deal”… then on July 11, I checked and the window sticker was there, and it indicated “in production” with a new date of week of July 19...
