I'm only 500 miles ahead of you, and I agree completely. It's an amazing little truck. I give my wife crap all the time because my truck is better on gas than her little hatchback

otherwise, not so wonderful.

I was getting 70 to 80 MPG 23 years ago in my model year 2000 Honda Insight with 5 speed manual transmission.

I agree .... not much traffic or stop signs/lights here so I am getting ~40-42mpg (according to the dash display).

Happy with my Hybrid Mav..at 40 mpg over 2300 original miles. Highway and mid size town, as good as it gets for me, not complaints.

I have to admit, I love it when people around me start talking MPGs. Especially since most people I know happen to drive large SUVs. There's always a look of shock when I tell them my truck gets 40 miles to the gallon.
