No you will not get another confirmation from Ford. So, should I get another confirmation from Ford when I make changes to my order?
Hang in there Mike, I'm in the same boat. If any update status does occur I've usually seen it on Thursday or Friday.I'm getting discouraged.
Mine was supposed to start production on the 23rd.
It's stuck in production
Not really. Ford has been building them for 8 years in-house.Keep in mind that the eCVT is new for Ford (even though Toyota has been making them for years). I want Ford to deal with DOAs or infant deaths first.
Naw your in good shape man, latest on the forum is Hybrids are going to probably stay at the in production stage till EPA numbers come out and they get the OKTB.I'm getting discouraged.

Hybrids are being built but will all be stuck on this status until epa mpg is blessed.I'm getting discouraged.

It would be nice if Ford would let us know thatNaw your in good shape man, latest on the forum is Hybrids are going to probably stay at the in production stage till EPA numbers come out and they get the OKTB.
It's a half baked idea, I know. I'm kind of fed up with round robins is all. It's a great idea, but I'm not sure that's how mass production works.
You are too busy making memes for that threadWhy have I not found this thread before?
Ford actually had a version of this type of eCVT before Toyota.I'm not in a hurry. I want Ford to work out production and quality problems before they build mine. Keep in mind that the eCVT is new for Ford (even though Toyota has been making them for years). I want Ford to deal with DOAs or infant deaths first.
You need to join our June ordered/non-scheduled lottery to see who gets built last!Still waiting on my Lariat Hybrid to be scheduled ....Confirmed 6/17
I think technically Ford and Toyota both used a transmission company called Aisin, Ford started making the eCVT design in-house some time ago.Ford actually had a version of this type of eCVT before Toyota.
