So, should I get another confirmation from Ford when I make changes to my order?
No you will not get another confirmation from Ford.

I made changes three times and no further emails from Ford.

However I did have the dealer email me the new DORA and those showed the changes.

Final change removed the constrained "Bed Mat" and added the "Manual Sliding Rear Window" and the "110V/400W Outlet" in the Cab.

The following Thursday I did get and email from Ford saying I was scheduled for a Build on 11/8.

I'm getting discouraged.
Mine was supposed to start production on the 23rd.
It's stuck in production 😟
Hang in there Mike, I'm in the same boat. If any update status does occur I've usually seen it on Thursday or Friday.

Keep in mind that the eCVT is new for Ford (even though Toyota has been making them for years). I want Ford to deal with DOAs or infant deaths first.
Not really. Ford has been building them for 8 years in-house.

Naw your in good shape man, latest on the forum is Hybrids are going to probably stay at the in production stage till EPA numbers come out and they get the OKTB.

If I'm not scheduled tomorrow (hybrid Lariat ordered 7/22), which I don't expect to be, I'll be visiting a few dealerships this weekend to see if anything is in stock or what's on the way (including competing brands). Depending how that goes, Monday I'll either contact my dealer to cancel the order or modify it to get the best chance of getting scheduled. Starting to feel like lunacy here...

To all the people on this site that keep spreading rumors about the Hybrid here is a fact!! The 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid uses the same exact engine/eCVT as the one that will be in the Maverick! The only thing keeping the Maverick Hybrid from being for sale yet is EPA numbers!! So please quit putting out hearsay rumors, the stress level is high enough!!o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

It's a great idea, but I'm not sure that's how mass production works.
It's a half baked idea, I know. I'm kind of fed up with round robins is all.

I'm not in a hurry. I want Ford to work out production and quality problems before they build mine. Keep in mind that the eCVT is new for Ford (even though Toyota has been making them for years). I want Ford to deal with DOAs or infant deaths first.
Ford actually had a version of this type of eCVT before Toyota.

You need to join our June ordered/non-scheduled lottery to see who gets built last!

I think technically Ford and Toyota both used a transmission company called Aisin, Ford started making the eCVT design in-house some time ago.
