After a 375 days waiting my dealer has informed me that Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023 and i will only get my truck if I’m lucky and may have to order a 2024.
Here's my surprised look. 😒 515 days and still nothing. I just get told "your order is still good". Hpr Xlt hybrid with lux package.

According to my dealer, they have recieved no mavs all year except 2 in early January that were rollovers. Not one truck has been scheduled this year. Most are hybrid, but 3 are EB, mine is one and im told by ford customer service that it is a clean buil and has been looked at 10 times this year and never scheduled. Im starting to think that my dealer has f-ed up and fomoco is freezing them out. With 2 months of scheduling left, i have the solid fear that im not going to get what i want, and will have to look to something else. But i dont want to have a hybrid system. Hope the Stout comes out with strait gas and better than mav design. What a mess this whole thing is. Im desperately trying to give a dealer $35k, and a third of the cost is cash. One would reasonably think that was motivation enough to get something built. Am i wrong here?

If Toyota had a hybrid Tacoma I'd buy that shit so fast.
A hybrid Tacoma has already been confirmed - official release for the 2024 Tacoma lineup is set for May 19th.

Well, maybe with the 2024 model year coming up, there may be other options besides the Ford Maverick to choose from, Chevy, Ram, Toyota. And Hyundai may come out with a hybrid Santa Cruz.

Not likely and even if it did happen they will all be unobtainable for years too. The new Chevy Colorado is the same as the Maverick, you arent getting it on a lot for MSRP (if you can find it at all)

This thread should be called:
"How Ford prevented anyone from wanting its most desirable product..."

Sounds like your dealer may not have any allocations left.

Just curious as to why you not interested in a hybrid. ?

For us it's the only small truck configuration that can be flat towed behind an RV.

This was supposed to be a truck to haul four of my crew to the job site so I thought it would be easier for us to do maintenance on.
We have 5 F-250’s 2 F-150’s so I like Fords for my business.

If Tesla can manufacturer 50,000 Units a month - Why can't ford up ramp up it's production and catch up with 2023 orders and beyond
It takes a lot of capital investiture to build factories. Plenty of companies have gone out of business rapidly expanding production on sudden demand and then that demand recedes beyond their ability to pay for those facilities and staff.

Ford makes 3x that number of vehicles per month for the United States alone. Tesla also has a much smaller and less complex model line.
