  2. 🗓️ Maverick Scheduling This Week (5/18/23) For Retail, Fleet, XLT & Lariat Orders. Current Constraints List (Production weeks 7/3-7/24)

Well here's hoping my XLT EB with no constraints gets scheduled. I guess it's all about the allocations now. Even if I get scheduled, at this point I'm not 100% sure I'm going to take delivery which would be September / October I think? My son needs our second car (a 2018 Elantra) for his...
  3. 🗓️ Maverick Clean-Up Scheduling This Week (5/11/23) for Production Week 6/26

Got my 45 day 'apology tour' email last night. A little surprised to get it, considering my Mav order no longer shows up on my ford.com account dashboard. Called Ford and they confirmed it's still there, 'unscheduled clean' status. At this point, for those of us that ordered in September 22...
  4. Dealer trying to add "Pulse Braking"

Unless you are prepared to lose the truck, you may just have to pony up the $600. Even if you do go through with the purchase, I would let the dealer know (after the transaction is complete), that you intend file a fraud report with the FTC (you can do that here ==>...
  5. Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023

I think if your retail order doesn't get built because your dealer won't get any more allocations, the build slot won't go to waste - it will likely be used to fill a stock order for a dealer.
  6. Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023

Quick update: Stopped by the dealer and talked to the sales manager. They looked up the order and it is still in the system as 'Clean-Unscheduled'. Taking this with a giant grain of salt but he was confident it would get scheduled. We shall see, I guess.
  7. Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023

I just logged into my Ford.com account, where I was always able to see my Maverick in 'Ordered' status. But today, it is no longer showing up at all. I'm wondering if this means Ford canceled my order since they know it can never be delivered to my dealer given their allocations? I now know that...
  8. Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023

A hybrid Tacoma has already been confirmed - official release for the 2024 Tacoma lineup is set for May 19th.
  9. Pretty sure I am waiting for nothing

Don't hold your breath. While I'm sure it's frustrating for dealers to not have more cars to sell, Ford and other manufacturers will never return to the model where their dealers have months of inventory on hand. From Ford's perspective, keeping inventory low keeps transaction prices high. It...
  10. 📬 4/20/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOT YET ARRIVING]

If that's the case, that's great and I'll happily stand corrected. I've seen several posters here comment that their dealers told them they had xx allocations - not a percentage of what is built. So if that number does in fact go up as more vehicles are built, then everyone with an EB order...
  11. 📬 4/20/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOT YET ARRIVING]

It won't make a bit of difference if your dealer is out of Maverick allocations. Unless Ford decides to increase allocations for dealers that still have unfilled customer orders, I think it will just end up as some other dealer's stock. This is what frustrates me about this whole process. There...
  12. 📬 4/13/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Something I don't quite understand with the allocation process and hoping someone knowledgeable can shed some light. I've seen numerous posts on MTC that suggest that Ford will (should?) be able to build all 2023 Ecoboosts ordered. However, if I ordered from a dealer that has, let's say taken 50...
  13. Model Year 2024 Maverick Order Banks Open 7/17 and Production Starts 10/17

Are you sure about that? My understanding was that retail customer orders must have a customer name linked to the order. If you cancel an order with your dealer, that order should come out of the system as it would no longer be tied to a retail customer, and I don't think the dealer can just put...
  14. 📬 4/13/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Yes, the lower number is a higher priority for scheduling. Customer retail orders range from 10 - 19, so it *should* help you...but not guaranteed. A lot also depends on your dealer's allocation of 2023 Mavericks (essentially how many Ford is willing to ship to that dealer).
  15. 📬 4/13/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Looks like I'm in the 'still waiting' group. I wish I had known about the dealer allocation factor. I ordered from my local dealer - Apple Ford in Columbia, MD - not a small dealer mind you - but definitely not the largest in the Baltimore area. A friend of mine ordered TWO Mavericks from a...
  16. Come on now? 38k base xl?

This. I had a chat with my sales rep recently, as I'm still waiting to be scheduled. I let him know I'd be interested in a similar spec XLT if another buyer backs out, but only if they would sell it as MSRP or 'reasonably close'. He said that while they always add around 5k ADM to any they get...
  17. Remove Options ASAP? What?

I think this is really important in the scheduling decisions. I have an XLT Lux AWD 4k Tow + SIBL/CMS on order but I'm still sitting at priority code 19. It's because of this that I am doubtful I will ever see my Maverick built, even though nothing in my spec is constrained.
  18. So your Mav won’t get built….What’s your Plan B?

Probably just keep driving my son's 2018 Elantra for now. He has an old Miata he is daily driving now, so the Elantra just sits unused. I was considering a Bronco Sport as an alternative to the Maverick, but the latest recall on the 1.5L EB has turned me off. (The plastic components in the...
  19. 🗓️ Maverick Scheduling on 2/9/23 For Production Weeks 3/20-4/17 (+ Current Constraints List)

Curious about this as well. Back in December, Ford indicated that SIBL take rate was lower than their build capacity, so they offered the special combined package of the SIBL + the side cargo tie down rails. I changed my order to include that package - so is this now a constraint?
  20. What color did you order for your 2023 Maverick?

I wanted Avalanche Gray but when I realized it was a Tremor-exclusive color choice, I went back and forth between Oxford White and Iconic Silver - ended up going with the silver.
