Allocations and constraints. We don't know the EB breakdown but I wouldn't be surprised if the EBs tend to be more 4K focused simply because why else get an EB? That will automatically put them a tad constrained on that front. That said, you are correct. EBs should be built this year and so allocations could be the reason why a specific EB is never scheduled.
Dealers don't necessarily know their allocation number for the entire model year, correct? It is a month by month basis....?

I see you ordered in Oct 2021, that was a long wait! I also ordered a hybrid from Leif Johnson but in Sept 2022, seriously doubt they will ever get to me. May try a different dealer next go round.

Looks like I'm in the 'still waiting' group.

I wish I had known about the dealer allocation factor. I ordered from my local dealer - Apple Ford in Columbia, MD - not a small dealer mind you - but definitely not the largest in the Baltimore area. A friend of mine ordered TWO Mavericks from a dealer about eight miles from mine (Koons Ford) - he has already received BOTH of his (one EB, one Hybrid - one was a 2022 ordered in 2021 then rolled over to 2023, the other ordered as 23 in Sept 22).

My guess at this point is that my dealer has already used up all their Maverick allocations, plus my order was entered as priority code 19...so I think I'm SOL.

Frustrating, for sure.

As a hedge, I've added my name to a list at a local Toyota dealer for a 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid, which should start arriving in June. Obviously a completely different vehicle class, but 42mpg + 196HP isn't too shabby for around $30k.

I may not know your circumstances, but I do believe they still have to schedule for July, August, September, October.

Are you pulling the plug before those points?
No I am still waiting I am fortune enough To have a car to drive still just wondering if I should quit keeping my hopes up past 3 weeks and then just as soon I'm gonna get it in 2024 I hope I get it this year fingers crossed

In theory, Ford would give them an estimate before the beginning of the year. But it changes month-to-month. Your dealership likely won't give you details. But they should at least give you an indication if allocations has been the limiting factor.

Checked with the chat and nothing. I think I'm going to start looking elsewhere.

From reading over the forum it seems like most of the emails were hybrids. I wonder if they are focusing more on hybrids in June. Nothing yet on my EB ordered in September of 2022.

Got it this morning after calling Dealer yesterday to ask why I have not received any emails since last year. So fortunate to have lucked into one last year so I didn’t have to drive my β€˜02 F250 diesel for 23,000 miles! Now I get the color and everything I originally ordered 😊

I'm off on vacation next week but I'm now convinced my 23 order is going unfulfilled. When I return, I'll start shopping for either a dealer inventory EB Maverick or else purchase something else.
