Then Ford and the rest of the big 3 should come to the table with better offers. The UAW took concessions when the economy was hurt last they negotiated. They are overdue a piece of the unprecedented profits the auto makers have reaped in the past few years. Do I think they walk away from this...
Mine is currently on the production line. It really depends on if the Hermosillo plant is effected by the strikes (my guess is no) and if the teamsters refuse vehicles at non-striking plants or otherwise refuse to move them from yards (seems not according to press). There's no strike line to...
I have a VIN for my '23 order but I contacted my dealer to express concern about a possible cancellation and no recourse on my next year's order. He said he'd look into it but I'm thinking I may ask him to submit a new order tomorrow and I'll cancel it when my truck is delivered.
Better late than next year!

I'm disappointed in the colors, as they essentially dropped three colors (A51, Alto, Cyber) and added one (Azure). Avalanche and Terrain don't matter to me, as they're both probably locked in the Tremor package. Would have liked a green, though I may switch my Cactus order to Azure.
Will be...
If my XLT gets rolled over, I wonder if they'll allow me to bump it to Lariat for '24 and keep incentives. If they price protect the '23 Lariat MSRP for '24, it becomes a bargain with all those former packages added into the base.
I'm thinking Terrain replaces Avalanche as the Tremor exclusive...
Another month, another no-show in my email. If they don't delay it, I expect order banks will open for 2024 before the next scheduling. I think I have the dealers selected where I'll be ordering that one. Going to go with my local dealer (they should priority 10 me), a large/medium dealer about...
They did this last month too, scheduled everything and then said they were scheduling retail orders again for a few weeks after. None were scheduled. I don't expect more emails until mid June.
My dealer sent me a copy of my COVP back when I placed the order in September. I'm hopeful that Ford is going to offer price protection to the unfulfilled COVP 2023 orders after all or at least cull some of these duplicate orders that just end up as dealer stock.
At this point, I'm more optimistic about my 2024 Eruption Green Maverick than I am for my 2023 Cactus. If they can keep this scheduling going maybe they'll build 80% of their orders next year.
I agree that multiple orders is a selfish move but if my order isn't filled this year and Ford is committed to screw me in the sequel ... Oh well. I'll order again through my dealer and hope they are least do the right thing and give me the better priority code but I'll order from a couple more...
I'm off on vacation next week but I'm now convinced my 23 order is going unfulfilled. When I return, I'll start shopping for either a dealer inventory EB Maverick or else purchase something else.
If you want to keep it as an option to purchase, just leave it. If you call the dealership to cancel, my guess is they change the priority code to 10 and try to have it built as dealer inventory to sell, possibly with a chunk of ADM to pad their profit.
You will be under no obligation to buy...
