I wasnāt able to accelerate past 35 mph so I pulled over, shut down, waited and restarted. This time my truck accelerated on itsā own to 35 mphš± That was scary! Just got towed to a dealer on Monday. Now I waitš«¤
Thanks for the info! That explains what happened to me on Sundayš Iāll have to read other posts to get an idea of the time my truck will be in the shopš«¤ Nothing was mentioned about automatic acceleration which I also experienced š¤
After talking to service folks at 6 dealers about loaners I gave up on that and called each one back to find out when they would be able to run diagnostics. May 1st was the earliest appointment I heard until the last call in a small town. The service manager told me they could look at it that...
My ā23 broke down yesterday in SC while waiting for my 5/8 appointment in FL after the recall messed up several things including auto acceleration to 35 mph with that being the highest speed. Apparently none of the dealers within 50 miles have loaner cars! From what Iāve read in other threads...
LOL, š Iād accept a horse at this point! It turns out there is only one dealer within 50 miles that has loaners and they have a waitlist of 19 ahead of meš± Iām waiting on the tow truck which should be here in the next 2 hours! Iām hoping it will be an easy reprogramming to fix the 35 mph top...
As a matter of fact I had a recall done at the beginning a couple weeks ago after another recall 2 months ago. Since then I constantly get that message about location data collection, the radio automatically comes on when I start the truck and after the last recall and recent rain I had water...
I originally started with a ā22 Lariat hybrid on 2/2/22. I later ordered a ā23 because my mileage was racking up and I figured it would be a year in production. In July, 2023 I even traded my ā22 with 28k miles for my new ā23 Lariat hybrid with 10 miles. I never had much of an issue with the ā22...
I had something similar yesterday In my hybrid. i got 2 miles from my house and all of a sudden I couldnāt accelerate past 35 mph. Wrench and engine lights came on as well as the slippery/skid light. Advanced trac, service required and several functions off warnings flashed on the screen. I...
My dealer let me put $7700 on the card so I had enough points to order the tonneau cover I wanted (not one of the Ford ones) and got the $200 statement credit at the end of the year. Good deal IMO!
Good heavens, whatās wrong with all you āfightersā? This was a yes no question and not a debate about EVs. Go get a punching bag to get rid of your anger Or get on one of those angry social media platforms!
No ordeals except for the ā22 CO one that someone turned down and then was sold out from under me while I was at the end of my 500 mile trip to pick it up and the damage done when my ā22 went in for the seatbelt and fire recalls. In the end Iāve had 2 great Mavericks with no regrets.
