I removed my hitch back in November, now have a basic hybrid XLT, NO add-ons.... and my order's never even been previewed. Like everything else, it seems to be whatever mood the Ford chimp is in when he starts throwing darts at the scheduling board. No system, no rhyme or reason, pure, dumb luck.

Yup, I've got a Plan B at the ready, but I have to have a hybrid of SOME kind in my drive by year end, so I'll give this until September, if I'm not even scheduled yet by then, Plan B it is. Won't be my dream vehicle -- won't be a Ford in a very long (50+ years) of buying Fords, but that's on Ford. Fingers crossed they pull out a win for us, but who knows.

Also, dealer finally responds after ignoring since October. “We took 350 orders I have no idea why you aren’t scheduled and no I’m not looking at all these orders”. Shit is hilarious

Yep, 2 more hybrids previewed at my dealer. Fuck it. No vehicle is worth this pain in the dick process.

I'll stick around the board but I've given up all hope of owning a Maverick.

Always with the negative waves!!! Believe me I understand, been there, done that. But my wife got scheduled yesterday. We NEVER thought that would happen. I think Ford may now be devoting more attention to the lowly Maverick now that the Lightning has proven "problematic".

If we all concentrate on positive waves, we can't lose! (Probably) (I hope)

Sorry to hear about your wait, it’s frustrating and one of the reasons I didn’t monitor forums like this regularly- it can be depressing and upsetting seeing others get what you’ve been waiting for.
I also considered doing what you did, remove the hitch and splash guards and leave it as a base XLT, but in the video I’m posting here, he says if you drop constrained options AND order surplus options (like spray-in bed liner, Lux package, Co-Pilot), Ford MAY give you priority over other orders. All I can say is “It worked for me, your results may vary”.

It has been 517 days since placing my original MY2022 Maverick order. No production schedule again.

The only email I received from Ford yesterday was their 45 day, “Another update on my Ford order”. LOL!

There is no fucking way you are as FRUSTRATED as I am, and there is no way your fucking team is working aggressively and diligently to get my truck!
Since Ford scheduled production through the end of May this week, it is unlikely I will receive a production date until at least after June 1, or 593 days from when I initially ordered. What Bullshit!

This is all I have to say to Ford Motor Company and its incompetent management team and employees….

FUCK YOU - FORD MOTOR COMPANY!

Got my standard 45 day email at 8:45AM EST yesterday. Then at 11:29AM, got the scheduling order! I was shocked to put it mildly. We literally just put a deposit on a new Lexus NX350h last week! Guess we will see which one gets here first. Congrats to all that got scheduled.

Anecdotes, but Tim says his allocations were used up yesterday and, based on the ranting mood my dealership was in yesterday, I'm assuming their limited number was as well.

Other than the last week of May, which my all be Fleet, I think May is done.

Fun fact: MY22 Explorer and F-150 have 3.9% for 72 months right now. I may end up paying less for the $10,000 more expensive Explorer than I may end up paying for the Maverick.

Based on what I had seen reviewing this forum last year I ordered a BASE XL HYBRID the easiest thing to build only to find out a couple weeks later that an early order with no options probably wouldn't help get it built early or at all. But here it comes! In October I was able to get a 22 AWD 4K LUX EB that was not picked up and I really like it.
