Well looks like my production date has change and as been pushed back 3 weeks now. Is this normal or a sign of issues for Ford?
I think Ford is having issues! It is pretty obvious that they still have constraints on certain items and packages.

Not sure how this is being handled - but I never got scheduling or production emails from Ford or notification from dealer - but when I checked with Ford customer service a month ago my rollover 22 Hybrid order was already in production. They gave me the VIN so I could check on it - it has been built and shipped - hoping to get it at dealer around mid-March. I am thinking they have been busy building the rollover orders and thus less 23 orders getting scheduled until this backlog is cleared.
At any rate - hoping they start cranking up the production for everyone who ordered!

I waited 6 months for delivery...I have owned it for 10 months...hold on...it's worth the wait!!!
You get tired of waiting. Already changed from hybrid to ecoboost and dropped the tow hitch and still not scheduled. Checking online there aren't many dealers in South Carolina that have any Mavericks on the lot.

Depends. But we have also seen people move up. The factory can and will shift things around as the week-to-week parts supply demand it. But you are scheduled. At this point in the model year, you are doing better than 85% of retail orders.

I’m definitely happy I got scheduled in the last batch. I’d be going crazy with 3 weeks of no information!

Wish someone could explain. 2.8 billion to manufacture EV. That’s coming from tax payers. Some are paying 10000 over cost if you can find one. Manufacturers must be making big profits and little on promises?
Building manufacturing capability takes years. For example, construction for BlueOvalCity (5.6 billion USD investment) broke ground last September (Sept 2022), and isn't expected to go online until 2025 some time if construction stays on schedule.

Ford can't seem to get their act together! I might try to find a Maverick on a dealer lot. If scheduling is already done through the middle of April, most of us are looking at 3 more months to maybe get an order filled.
They are only 4 months into this years production schedule. They don't build all of their orders in the first 6 months.

I wouldn't mind getting any of the following 2023 models if the Maverick VIN doesn't show up by April: Ford Edge ST Line, F-150, or another Toyota Corolla or a Rav...or nothing. My 2015 Corolla only has 35K miles on it. I WFH and don't drive that much. Randumb thoughts...

I'm used to being able to drive one on the lot and there is none there to drive. I know I just ordered 5 months ago, but I wanted a hybrid and switched to ecoboost to hopefully get a truck. The whole ordering process is a mess now. I also wanted a tow hitch and dropped that. Now, my dealer will try to find me a truck on another lot. I'm not willing to wait a year or more to get a truck. The value of my trade will continue to drop as time goes by.

FWIW Dept. Just received an email stating my build week slipped from 20-Feb to 27-Feb. I have six different dates so far according to that POS tracker.

Huh, that would explain the email stating that my 22 Feb production date shifted to 27 Feb.

I'm not worried. I waited over 2 years for my 2 door, base manual Bronco to be built. The production date on that got moved like 27 times. It's all part of the game.

That Colorado is looking mighty sharp but it is no bigger than the Maverick inside. If I am jumping into the $40s for a truck I'll go all the way to the Silverado for $45k.
where is a silverado that is $45k?

The way Ford is, watch there be some scheduling on Thursday. Just won't be mine.
