Just brought mine home from the dealer today. Drove it home and got the "deep sleep" alert. 😑
Probably because its been sitting for months. Need to drive it to charge the battery. Or could be a bad battery.

Just curious, how long was the drive home? Short distance? Has it been sitting at the dealership or rail yard for an extended time?

Drive is about 15 minutes on the highway. But yeah, I suspect it's because it has been sitting in a railyard. I'm hoping it'll go away when I can get a decent drive in and hope it's not a harness or battery issue.

It’s been cold were I live recently , that’s when I started getting the alerts on the ford pass. And I don’t drive very many miles . But I take for a 20 or so mile drive I don’t get an alert for 2 or three days
You probably also notice your interior lights front and rear and cargo light out back work sometimes and sometimes not. Is this happening to you?

Yes it is. Went for a long drive yesterday to recharge up the battery… Not thrilled that that’s currently the solution to deep sleep mode

Taking my hybrid to dealer soon. Recall for under hood, oil change , AND the deep sleep mode, which I’m worried with at some point be a dead battery…
Has anyone had success with dealer resolving deep sleep?

My Dealer had my Hybrid for 6 weeks and finally said we figured out how to fix your Deep Sleep mode problem. A new 12 volt battery fixed this problem for 2 months and now the problem is back again. This problem started out slowly with the lights not working some of the time and then I would drive it for a while and they would work again.
As of today the problem is all the time now and no matter how far I drive it, it doesn't fix the problem anymore. I have not gone back to the dealer yet.
I drive my hybrid 7 to 10 miles every day.

My 22 Hybrid is doing the same thing. It's gotten worse just like yours. Have had it to the dealership twice. Both times they reloaded some module(s). I have been in touch with the service manager at the dealership and am waiting for them (FORD) to come up with a plan. Like most of you I have yet to read about a permanent fix. FYI it was built March 8, 2022.

Twice now, my FordPass app has alerted me that my 22 Mav has gone into deep sleep mode to protect the battery.
This sucks! I drove a 2011 Fusion Hybrid for 10 years and not once did this ever happen with it.
I don't drive my Mav a lot, but it does get driven a couple times a week for between 15 and 100 miles depending on what's going on in life.
I was thinking perhaps the app pinging the truck was contributing, so I turned off all background functions of the app. I'm not that hopeful about this strategy, but i'll see if it helps.

Add my name to the 'deep sleep alert' camp - my truck is at dealer today for a new battery, mine failed on the Rotunda tester...I hope Ford figures out why they drain on these vehicles, mine is just short of 1 year old....Started out noticing no dome light when opened in the morning and also no pass side touch feature on door handle...

Is ford paying for the battery or you?

I think the issues at play is the small 12v battery and that the truck constantly is pinging the cell network and wifi. Mines in DeepSleep 90% of the time...
