Only 1297 Mavericks were built in August looks like will be luck to get my order by next summer :(
They were still full production on the bronco sport at the time. That number will be significantly higher with bronco sport production ending and Maverick production ramping up.

Yes you are correct. I ordered first week. And I hope you're right on the second part.
Actually the term is: Unscheduled Clean. Same situation here. I ordered June 14th. My dealer is pretty insistent that I not change anything (I'd like to tweak my order and get the black painted wheels)... they are just not very good at explaining why. They _could_ change your order, but that would change your priority code to a dealer code... something like a 10 or 19. NOW you/dealer are dependent on the Ford regional guy to change your order back to a 2. IMO, if you want an early build, it's not worth it unless you've got a major change... like trim level, or drive train.

That's really only a little more than 2 weeks in August. Maverick Production started 8/16. And I believe that's with them not operating at max capacity. Glass half full... Glass half full. 😜
if a hybrid ? if so will be months

Well right now, I am supposed to be a 2. Tim from Long McArther didn't give me any good feelings in his video last night when he said this was cleanup week and that the tonneau covers remain constrained. So, I don't know. I think I'm gonna place a call to Ford Marketing to validate what I am being told.

Just remember the constraints apply to today, or this week, not to 2 1/2 months ago. You might check the history of constraints - for example Ford stated on July 31 that the spray in bed liner "might be a possible constraint" because they could see that more folks were ordering it than anticipated. Anyway...

I'm interested in hearing what Ford Marketing has to say.

Also Ford apparently has their own manufacturing lingo that no one understands.... not very transparent at all. re:

I don't want to mess up the back seat with the bags. Usually there's 2 or 3 of us that go. I know my wife and I were watching golfers at Pebble Beach from down below the 10th green and I told her that they didn't hit it any better than I do, just have a lot more money than me ;)
A friend who has a Chevy Colorado just opens the tailgate loads his clubs and doesn't even lift the tonneau cover.
I would remove the Ford cover, and get one from a local supplier. If you do a little investigation, you may find what you want is available readily from the supplier who makes them for the factory, but it will likely be sans Ford emblem, and sell for less.

JuSt received a email from dealer yesterday. (9/15) he removed my drop in liner as that would delay me getting scheduled

SO NEWBERNWOLF:
What was made up that was material to the context of the INITIAL conversation. Cleary, you do not understand concepts and theory and give a greater reliance on being told what to think rather than knowing how to think. The only saving grace would be that you did not read the post to which I was answering. That person, PORTCQB, understood it and in his follow-up post took it a step further.

So what are the more verifiable numbers?
Some verifiable numbers:

Hermosillo Assembly Plant has produced an average of 12K Bronco Sports per month so far this year.

The best month was 18.4K units.

When they were building the Fusion, they were building about 750 per shift

What we don't know is what the mix will be between the Bronco Sports & the Maverick which just started ramping up in August

If you look back at the whole discussion I was making some theoretical possibilities and put some numbers to it concerning # of builds and when a vehicle might possible be completed. Newbernwolf wanted hard cold facts when none were available.

The plant is said to have the capacity of 800 cars per shift but things happen in production lines.

When I was working at Fisher Body there was one production line that always made their quota and was finished by lunch time. They were stamping out Monte Carlo rear quarter panels. Assembly plants are much more complex than stamping plants.

That mix will be interesting as well as the mix of the Mavericks between Eco2.0 and Hybrid. Topping all that off, how will the constrained items be allocated to maximize profit and production.

Or later...
August was just the start of ramp-up. The actual numbers should be much higher barr

The chip issue has not been a big problem for them so far. Who knows if that will get better or worse with time. Their constraints seem to fluctuate between various optional items. As for the mix, the Bronco Sport is selling well and the Maverick launched with a lot of orders ready to fill. Many components and line time are shared between them. It will be will be interesting to see what they build and when.

Supposedly there has been a 25-30% conversation rate of the 100K+ reservations, and about 2:1 of those 30K-ish orders have been hybrid. So it's probably about 20K hybrid orders and 10K ecoboost.

And the 100K was reservations. Ford is keeping quiet about how many reservations were actually converted to orders.
