Got high hopes today until noon rolls around...
Well, today is clean-up. So, I would suspect the numbers will be low. Next week may be larger numbers once they start scheduling for January production.

Hybrid or no truck for me.

As far as raising the price on the hybrid, the Maverick doesn't exactly have the greatest interior or exterior details that are high quality, so raising the price will only put other vehicles into play.

Example - hybrid Escape has a much nicer interior, and more back seat room. My wife prefers it to the Maverick, but since this is my car and it was substantially cheaper, we went Maverick. If the price was higher, we would definitely be looking at a lot of other vehicles.

Even as it was, an XLT hybrid with luxury package MSRP is close to $28,500. That is not cheap to me.

Judging from all the rolled 22s "scheduled" for January already, I wouldn't hold my breath for any big numbers lol.

It’s an every Thursday thing for me. Seeing a Maverick on the way to work this morning didn’t help.

Then get an xl base?

You say if price was higher you would look at other vehicles, then you say what you ordered isn’t cheap 🤔

I have a XLT Lux Hybrid with Moonroof. I did it this way expecting a long wait. If it takes a year I really don't mind. But not getting built at all I will mind.

A thought occurs to me:

If they are allowing rollovers to change their trim level, and the place in line, as well as the private offer were to remain, it almost makes more sense for me to opt for the base XL trim.

Only reason I didn't get it before was the lack of cruise control, and not knowing there were kits to add it afterwards.

With all the incentives that I can get in place, it almost makes it even better to go that route, as it would truly be an everyman's truck. A hybrid pickup with a substantial amount of mods available for ~$20k after taxes paid in full? Yes please.

Hi all,

Placed an 2023 order with Long McAurthor. Was looking for some feedback on if my order has a good chance of being built in 2023.

From Ford: In Order Processing Unscheduled- Clean Sep-16-2022, 00:11 EDT

2023 Hybrid XLT
-Lux Package
-BAP
-Alto Blue
- Manual Rear sliding Window (for the Poopers)

Wasn't sure if I am technically 2nd day order submission.

Or since I am Central time zone, would it be day 1?
Sep-15-2022, 11:11 CST?

Tim seemed to indicate Ford will save the hitches for the packages that include them. But we also don't know how many hybrids have hitches. If you have a hybrid order with a standalone hitch, you likely had better odds at the powerball last night.
you're probably already aware, but Hybrid and FWD use a different hitch than the ECO AWD 4k tow trucks.

They use the same hitch hardware. The 4K has added wiring and drivetrain/engine changes but the actual hitch is the same.

Or at least that is what was relayed to me.

Ford has not converted any of the VINed 22 orders to 23s yet. And they have not scheduled any build weeks in Jan yet.
I call Customer Service every week... This morning my Dec 19 build date was moved to week of Jan 9 but is still showing as MY22. Agent said the conversion to MY23 should happen in next few weeks and that I would be notified.. I have verified with dealer I have a unique order number. I asked about Trailer hitch and she said there is nothing in the system that mentions that, but there is mention that Hybrid Transmissions are currently holding up builds.

The 4K hitch bar is physically different to accommodate the 7-/4-pin trailer plug receptacle.
