Wait... not entirely sure what you guys are arguing about, but Just to confirm, you are aware that a year + wait is absolutely the norm with the maverick right? Especially with the hybrid.
How many 2022 Mavericks have been delivered?

How do you see someone saying “most people will not have to wait 12 months for their truck“ and think “this person must not be satisfied with their life“?

That is incredibly irrational.
it's the new normal - weak argument, resort to personal attack

lariat, eco-boost, lux, 360, 4K-appears as if this is the flavor of this run of builds.
They need to carry that flavor into the first week of MY23 for... reasons.

My WAG is 100k. based on the highest VIN making into 115k. The subtract the 6.9k to be at the head of the MY23 line that had VINs, those intransit and those yet to be built through Nov 23rd.

I think those are reasonable guesses. I know you are not one of the two people saying that most people have to wait 12+ months (cat seemed to get their tongue when asked to offer anything to support such an ignorant claim), so I am not making any assumptions about your position. But the idea that a year-plus wait is what most people experience is so absurd and weird. Like, do these people honestly thing that 51,000 trucks were delivered after 12 months..... and the preceding 12 months just saw 4,000 delivered each month? Such immature nonsense.

As long as they slip an XLT in there while they're also at it for....reasons.

The hitch is the same, wiring is different (7pin/4pin vs 4pin) and the 4k tow package on the ecoboost also gets upgraded cooling to handle more weight and better final drive ratio for better pulling capability.
Thanks Tim! Can you provide any details on orders that you had preview this week that were marked as the hitch being the issue - were they add-on option hitches, or Lux or FX-4 package hitches? Even if the hitches are the same, just curious if there are specific hitch configurations that are being scheduled vs others not?

I'll be lucky if mine appears in less than 15 months. Will be passing 12 months next week, and am currently in the 12/19 group to be cancelled and re-ordered as a 2023.

What we know is that the order to delivery time is getting longer not shorter. Constraints are getting worse. So yeah, I expect MY 2023 orders to take 6+ months with average probably around a year.

There are now 3 groups of hybrid folks waiting.
1st: 2022 orders with VINs to be cancelled and then built as 2023s; 2nd: 2022 orders without VINs who were re-ordered as 2023s; and last, but not least, the 2023 orders from September's brief opening.
My guess is that group 1 will be completed in 3-5 months; group 2 in 6-9 months; and group 3 in 9-? months.

I passed a year a couple of weeks ago. I’m also in the 12/19 debacle.

Which do you think is more true:

Most 22 Maverick orders took 12+ months to be delivered, or

The vast majority of 22 Maverick orders were delivered in less than a year.
