I still don't think there is much competition to the Maverick if you want a small truck. Maybe Santa Cruz but people don't seem to like them as much. Small hybrid truck? There is no competition rn.

Last year "they" told us if you have a VIN, your truck will get built. Turned out that wasn't the case as thousands of VINs got cancelled. So who knows. There are no guarantees.

Ford is supposed to cancel the orders with the same order number as MY23 if the MY23 is built. If you want another truck, you'd want to talk to the dealer to get you a new order number. You want get any kind of price protection though, you'll have to pay MY24 MSRP.

The priority code is for your place in line for the dealer, not for incentives. We got a rebate if our MY22 trucks were not built. Ford has already stated they are not doing it again. You are lucky and got a production date. Is there a chance it might not get built? Yes, but it likely will...

There was so much misinformation about that recall. Not all the hybrids are affected.

Finally going to pick it up today. 570 days later.

Called the dealer today to have them do the spray in. Truck is expected to arrive the week of 22nd. He sees my private offer in the system. Everything looking good so far.

I ordered mine from Capital Ford in Charlotte in October of 2021. Rolled over to the MY2023 last September. Truck is now built and awaiting shipment. I hope I get it by the end of May.

Mine is built and the modules have populated. Coming up on year and a half in 5 days.
