And here we go
My dealer has 5 orders previewing as of this morning (one of which is mine , again for the 4th time)
3 hybrid
2 eco( one which is AWD)
All prio 10 MY22 rollovers

2 for 11/28
1 for 12/5
2 for 12/12(one of these is mine)

Hybrids is unsurprisingly one of the constraints on the list, along with trailer hitch showing as one as well
So the hitch is a constraint item now? Great, just great:(

So, do we have any clue how many orders there are "scheduled" in Dec vs actual production capability?

I know it just says trailer hitch but hopefully it is referring
to the 4K towing pkg.
I hope not! After watching December and January orders get scheduled, getting passed over and pushed to 2023 and now they "don't have enough tow hitches" is fucking bullshit

I'm seeing a lot of different info here. Some have a priority number (what is that ?) a list of your dealer's orders ( who did you beat up to get that ?) .

My wife and family are making the points that FORD and the Dealer don't care. They don't care to update me on a regular basis. They really aren't answering my questions.

I got the dealer order number in September. only a YEAR after my order was submitted

I have a VIN number.

I fear if I contact a member of the Board of Directors DIRECTLY , the Dealer will SCREW MY OVER the first change they get and sell the truck from under me.

Any suggestions on how I can get better info from SOMEONE ?
Yes! I can help with that. The easiest and best way to get better communication… contact another manufacturer. 🤣
Toyota, Honda, Hyundai up to you. I just talked to someone at Toyota and they can get me something in a few weeks. 😜
Ford hasn’t broke me down yet but it’s getting close. 😭
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to let @Ford Motor Company know since they seem to care so much.

Ya I agree with this, it’s odd to me. Looking for backups if the Maverick does not work out but like you said every other brand dealer be like “Got one on the way no problem”
I dunno just looking at the Santa Cruz if this doesn’t work out /shrug

Just contact Ford via chat. Someone explain how this makes sense?! Chat attached.

Xlt hybrid no options ordered 11/15/21.

Confirmed order in 2 hours.

Scheduled build week 10/24, 11/7, 11/28... now confirmed from Ford 10 mins ago, 12/19!

And they said it a 2022...

It is a '22. The official cancellation and reorder as a 23 hasn't happened yet.

I could be wrong but previous posts about the trailer hitch (a week or so ago) say it is only the one in the packages like LUX packages. The stand-alone $100 trailer hitch was not constrained. That could have changed but I have my fingers crossed.

It’s exactly the same unless it’s 4 k.

The standalone one is the one they put on with the Lux package. If one is constrained so is the other.

That is not what the ford authority article said or the ford video guy. Stand-alone is not contained but the ones in the packages are. It does not make sense to me either. Just passing along the info I heard and read.

I’m starting to think @Ford Motor Company really doesn’t want to sell Mavericks. I’m thinking they want the free publicity of the Maverick but they are losing money on each one they sell like rotisserie chickens at Costco so they want to keep sales low to keep losses low but use scarcity to develop a frenzy of attention. Costco does it to get you in the store hoping you will spend more on other stuff than they lose. Maybe ford has a similar business model and it’s serving an unforeseen purpose. I mean I ordered one Oct 9 2021 and it is plausible that my new order will also never get built. It’s just crazy/silly almost to even take customers orders. Oh and don’t forget that the mpg average helps meet CAFE requirements for Ford as a whole probably offsetting lost profit to a wash.

Appears so for the time being.

From reading the forum, I am under the impression the hold-up on hybrid production is the transmission. Am I misinterpreting or does the above indicate that it is the engine?

Judging by your profile and the fact that you've been a member for 7 months and only left 13 messages, I am guessing you don't hang around these forums very often. I would say the best info you are going to get are from here. There are several dealers who frequent these sites and we get more accurate and consistent info from them then anyone at Ford corporate or my local dealer. I had a VIN number from early August that I found from chat. Ford didn't send me an email letting me know until about a month later and my dealer never told me, I had to let him know.

TLDR; If you want to stay up to date, pay attention to these forums.
