I may not have done enough digging on this but could someone answer this question I have?

Does Ford typically have a day of the week that they send out emails notifying you that you’ve been scheduled? Also, if you do get scheduled, is your VIN generated then as well or whenever the building process actually begins?

Things are not as they were in the early days. Used to be Thursdays ford would send out the "you got scheduled" emails. You can go find all those "moment by moment" threads from each Thursday where people would report their good (or bad) news. But that stopped early summer. Best bet is to chat or call with Ford customer service either Thursday afternoons, or Friday. That's what many of us do.

Lots of rumors and speculation.

No one knows, not even Ford.

Today I drove past a row of new car dealerships and saw nothing but used cars.

I think things are getting worse.

I would really like to know when my Maverick will show up but that is not going to happen. The only thing for sure is a long wait and lots of complaining on the internet.

More productive would be to make a list of links to aftermarket parts suppliers.
Or post a list of people's custom Maverick builds.
Or a list of tire sizes that fit and photos of what this they look like.

The bronco sport form has a lot of really useful info posted. Kinda jealous, I hope we eventually end up with as much useful information here.
Literally everything you suggested is on this forum. There is a collage of photos showing all different tire sizes that fit without mods.

Also many threads on custom trucks from lowered street trucks to lifted over landing rigs.

Other threads on unlocking features with Forscan, adding cruise control to XLs with factory hardware, installing catch cans, LED aftermarket lighting, etc, etc, etc.

But we do bitch A LOT? Darn right we do, because there is an awful lot to bitch about! Besides I've seen everyone else's builds and mods for nine months. Now I just want my truck so I can do the same and enjoy!

What I've been seeing makes sense for a Nov 21 MY23 start date

Seems most of not all end of Nov builds have been moved to Dec and thereby canceled. Nov 7 may just get moved around to the other weeks or Dec, hopefully other weeks.

I thought based off the Nov cancelations and the MY22 schedule poll taken last week that Nov 21 would be first build date along with lots of scheduling.

but the plant is taking a week off the first week of Nov. assuming to get ready for 23’s. So why not announce all Nov builds are getting pushed to 23

Because there is no guarantee the production schedule posted is accurate. Or have you forgotten that Ford has already planned and scrapped plans to schedule MY23 Mavericks twice?

If Ford wanted to cancel all the November Ecoboost builds and push them to 23 why didn't they just do it last week when they canceled all the hybrids? I'm not saying anything Ford does makes sense, but let's just wait and see what happens this week. I learned a long time ago to believe almost none of what Ford says and about half of what it does.

Thank you, but that's not my question. I'm asking is there any practical difference between being scheduled for an earlier week or a later one.

true, the last time they posted a 23 schedule it was wrong. Something has to give, either all Nov 22 builds are getting pushed to 23 or the 23 schedule is wrong again. But they put 3 scheduling weeks which made it seem like this wasn’t a mistake. Oh well we will see

So what's happens to Nov 7 production dates that were sent via emails by ford?

IMO - FoMoCo needs better schedulers..

This isn’t applicable to Mavericks but my Lightning Lariat that I ordered 9/21 got a build date email on Thursday last week that provided a build date of 11/21 and included the Vin. I reserved within minutes on 5/19/21 so only took a year plus before I could order a truck I cannot afford :)

I doubt you are scheduled for week of 11/21 any longer. Check with Ford customer service and get an update. My bet is you now have a December build week, which means you are canceled and will be re-entered as a 2023 order.

Don't look at it as being "cancelled" look at it as restarting your relationship with Ford. When they say they will make you a customer for life, they ain't kidding.

Just contact Ford via chat. Someone explain how this makes sense?! Chat attached.

Xlt hybrid no options ordered 11/15/21.

Confirmed order in 2 hours.

Scheduled build week 10/24, 11/7, 11/28... now confirmed from Ford 10 mins ago, 12/19!

And they said it a 2022...

Unfortunately, your chat agent is misinformed. All builds moved to the month of December (ALL HYBRIDS) are canceled and will be re-entered into the system as MY23 orders to be re-scheduled at a later date.

This was the big story around here last week. Ford put out an official memo to dealers any everything. Where ya been?
