The plot thickens...

So I just hit up Ford chat about an hour ago with my fingers crossed that the 12-12/12-19 mess was a glitch and now I was told the only thing the customer service rep could see is that I now have an ETA to my dealership of 11-26 to 12-2, meaning it should go into production like next week... I don't know what to think anymore.

Interesting. I saw a pretty loaded retail EB on Ford's site destined for a dealer near me. I wonder if allocation is also playing a role in some being pushed back and not others.



Which would still fit with the plan to start MY23 on 12/5, if they are all just EB. Something to consider.

Unfortunately the EB’s still seem to be getting pushed out for production. Not as bad as hybrids, but not great either.

Yeah you would think there would be plenty of room in the schedule for the remaining ecoboosts with all the hybrids pushed. There must be some wider constraints. Wonder how many they will build in total this month…

Ordered 9/28/2021 on 8/16/22 went to the dealership and was TOLD I had a scheduled build week of 9/26 (although no email from Ford)

1st Email from Ford on 9/23 said build week was 10/17 vin# included
delayed 2nd email on 10/4 said build week moved to 10/24
delayed 3rd email on 10/11 said build week moved to 11/7

tracking just says scheduled. Fingers and toes crossed here, didn't even bother trying for MY23 and whatever the special deal was because the dealership assured me my vehicle was already in production.

I ordered the hybrid on 10/03/21 and the latest build schedule is week of 11/14. Has anyone ordered before 10/03 and have not been built?

Yes. 10/01/21 Hybrid XL order with hitch and no constraints. Never even got scheduled so consider yourself lucky :-( Re-ordered for a MY23 but low likilihood that I will see that one as well. My guess is that roughly 10%-20% of September hybrid orders never were scheduled as well.

I tried to read peoples signature lines, but it all blurs together. Anyone who has recently been bumped into late November or December have an EcoBoost? Are they all Hybrids?

I was bumped to 11/14 I'm an Ecoboost. But now that all those hybrids have been bumped into December I'm actually hoping I might move back up.
