They are in talks about the system at headquarters and will be getting back to us to exactly how they plan to give allocations. They realize that changing it on dealers during the launch of the order banks wasn't the right thing. I have faith they will make it right to the dealers that have worked hard in 22MY and help customers and delivered Mavericks. Dealers that didn't pay attention and didn't think it was a model worth marketing should not be reward allocations. They need to base it on sales in last 12 months like they do for all other model lineups.
Consistency is key.

Can you clarify what covp order is? Is it different from your dealer entering your signed order sheet. We signed vehicle buyer's agreement, provided driver's license, paid deposit and dealer signed off on our order. Nobody seems to know what covp is.

I would cancel them and any other accessory that you can order from the parts department. Even if they are not a constraint now they could be later on and cause a problem.
Ok I might just go ahead and cancel the mats from both the hybrid and the EB orders. Probably not worth the risk of having the order get held up (or worse) should the mats become a constraint.

We ordered the Hybrid for my wife and she really wants a moonroof which we ordered it with. It doesn't sound like the roof is a big constraint but I'm not real confident we'll get that hybrid with or without a roof so probably not worth removing the roof? Remember the good old days when buying a new vehicle was easy, lol:)

I used to get so frustrated going around to different dealerships trying to find the vehicle i want with a manual transmission... that seems like a walk in the park now

You may have discussed this somewhere else. But isn't the allocation system a tad circular? Have to get allocation to sell trucks in order to get allocation to get trucks to sell?
Yes. Kind of like getting a job. Employer wants experience employee but the employee can't get experienced without getting a job.

This ROVP vs COVP situation is confusing. My dealer said they did a COVP for my Mav order and gave me a 6 digit number for it. They don't know what ROVP is.

However, the message from Ford corporate that started this thread indicates that ROVP is required by 05 Oct, and COVP is optional.

Is there any way to know if I am good, or if my truck will never get scheduled?

Checking with Ford Customer Service Chat says my order is "In Order Processing."

I remember those days. Finding a manual was hard, really hard. It was nothing compared to this.

That said if Ford would offer a Maverick with a manual, even a base XL, I'd be first in line. I don't expect that to ever happen.

Tim, do those discussions also include what Ford intends to do about Rogue dealers entering new orders with priority 10 in contravention of the rollover instructions.

There is enough anecdotal evidence that thousands of new orders are being entered this way, which makes a mockery of the rollover program. Not to mention more customer dissatisfaction for rollover customers who may loose out yet again.

We really need to hear the Maverick marketing team response to that question to maintain confidence in the rollover program.

If a dealer has no roll over they can enter whatever they want. Priority is dealer specific. A priority 19 at one dealer can get scheduled before a priority 10 at another dealership.

According the guy who finally took my order, people waiting for their Mavericks get priority for any dealer stock. Not sure how that works. If anybody knows more please post.
I had to move heaven and earth just to get the sales guy to admit order banks were open… told me he’d get back to me Monday. I wouldn’t stop texting, so he finally set up an appt. No email from Ford yet though.
Ford Chat tells me that I am in “In Order Process”. What more do I need to know or do, or make sure is done correctly by my dealer. I’m sure this is in some thread somewhere- sorry for the repeat question!
I've quoted both of your posts above for clarity.

I am not an authority on any of this, but from what I learned recently, I think you should call Ford CS back immediately and as ask the rep:
what does "in process mean",
Next, If necessary ask "Do all good orders look like mine"?,
Lastly, if still unclear, ask "Is my status marked Unscheduled/clean or is it showing something else"?

These are my thoughts after having only two contacts with FCS. Two wildly different contacts with FCS!

There is still time to find an honest dealer and submit an ecoboost order - That's my step 4!
Good luck!

The problem is that there really was no "rollover program." Ford could have easily rolled-over the existing unfulfilled orders, push them to 99 status, and then gave a set period of time for only those rollovers to get updated and in the system. They could have done all of that without allowing a single new order to be placed. This is exactly what Ford is doing with the Bronco, to finally give existing orders true priority. Ford for whatever reason did not care enough about Maverick customers to implement take that kind of approach and instead has left it entirely up to the dealers to prioritize their customers.

Same, I'm lost...my dealer said that the in processing message means the order is confirmed as retail order and then it takes 24-48 hrs to make it a covp order.

For rollover order, the new 2023 roller over order code is the same as the original 2022 order code from the dealer. The difference I see are the "model year" from 2022 to 2023 and "price level" from 220 to 315, if that says anything.
