maverick production will have to pick up significantly to meet the assigned VINs by mid Nov.

Yeah, at this point it seems pretty likely they'll push out the MY22 production for (at least) a few extra weeks in order to get them all cranked out.

There is no dealer stock.

Well, there might be. If you read the bulletin (attached), it specifically says dealers can continue to order STOCK units even after the order banks close. Why, you ask? Because of constraints. As long as RETAIL orders can't be built due to the constraints on the order, the line has to keep moving. How do you do that? By building bare bones, no added options, trucks. Which based on the constraints list will be XLT EBs. If dealers are smart, that's what they will order as STOCK units.

Yeah I was about to say the same thing. They may be building 22s all the way until the end of the year by the looks of it.

If true (big if), I feel bad for the dealers. Customers understand supply chain constraints are Ford's problem. Customers will probably be less forgiving though with "we took 30x more orders than we were allocated", even if it is Ford's fault.

I can't believe that in 2022 Ford couldn't set up a build/order system implementing dealer quotas using allocated builds and overall numbers.

Not only Ford but most car companies have supply chain issues. Part of the problem is the just in time manufacturing practices pushed by MBA schools.

Just heard back from Ashlie on the email I sent - they still have heard no clarification from their Ford rep regarding the allocation number.

They've issued VINs for at least up to 113,900 MY22s.

How many of those VINs are exported though?

Not only Ford but most car companies have supply chain issues. Part of the problem is the just in time manufacturing practices pushed by MBA schools.

There are huge benefits to it, keeping working capital down saves money and nobody wants it tied up in inventory.

There's still something bizarre about the huge mismatch between last year's sales at Horsham and a projected 11 for the whole year.

The big chunk would be Canada. The sales in South America were in the low hundreds.

Just got an email from Ashlie Ryan stating for gave them their MY23 estimated allocations and they only have 11. Of of their writing they had 60 rollovers.

"We would like to thank you for wanting to order a 23MY Maverick from us...

Between September of 2021 and August of 2022, we delivered or have scheduled over 300 Mavericks...

As you might know, Ford has decided to close the order bank that was open less than 1 week...

Around 5pm last night, we received our MY23 estimated allocation...sadly, Ford estimated a total of 11 for the entire model year for us...we hope that is a mistake and currently trying to get answers as to why delivering over 300 Mavericks only earned us 11 over the same period...

As of today, we had about 60 customers from MY22 who didn't get scheduled and about her 250 who wanted to order from us for MY23...this number was very comfortable for us to handle based on Fords allocation formula and our previous MY sales...

We highly suggest you place back up orders at other dealers in the event Ford stays true to only building us 11 for MY23..."

My dealer also said they were allocated a total of only 48 Mavericks total and they have orders for several hundred...

These allocations are comical... they should have kept the order window open for 30 minutes

If Horsham is being penalized the real victims are the customers, thanks Ford, thanks for stringing me along, letting me put thousands of dollars into my current vehicle to keep it running while I kept thinking my new car will be here soon, I wish they told me months ago, at least I would of spent my money on a another vehicle instead of the piece of crap I have now, sorry for the rant, just frustrated.
