I can appreciate the optimism that Ford is shutting down orders quickly so they can build everything.

I believe that they have already maxed out orders. You only need to average 30 orders per dealer - with 3K dealers - that's closing in on 100K orders.

I guess that I'm NOT getting a 2023 Maverick - My local dealer says the 2023 cannot be ordered yet (as of 9/20). I tried another dealer who placed an order, but will not verify the order has been submitted. Neither has admitted to hearing about order banks closing. Even though I've owned over 20 Ford/Mercuries in my life, it may be time to switch to another brand. :-(

UPDATE:

I called a 3rd dealer - zero issues. Took my order over the phone, sent a copy of the order summary and I received an email from Ford saying my order has been confirmed!

I received both my email confirmation emails, I'm assuming the dealer is using my past photo of my license for the COVP. I ordered a 22 ( and have it )it would be interesting to see how many people ordered a 23.
A lot ordered 2023's, including many people who didn't actually need or want one.

Time to switch to ANOTHER DEALER. My dealer ordered my 2023 just fine on Saturday. Hybrid orders end today, EB orders end tomorrow.

Placed two orders for a XLT Hybrid with hitch only at two different dealers in Denver metro area prior to realizing it hangs up the orders as explained on this site. One had approximately 100 orders, the other with the $1000 deposit req appeared to have less than 50. Due to many reasons including not having regular access to a vehicle, and many Ford issues including allotments, I will see how the progress moves forward.

First dealership would not guarantee the price and the other required a $1000 deposit. Due to all the issues on Thursday, both orders were fully completed on Friday. Both said the orders can be canceled without penalties.

Finally, does anyone know if Ford puts the order in line as soon as an requested order is provided an order number/partially saved or does it actually have to be fully submitted?
One of the dealers seemed to think that as soon as they had an order number on the 15th it started the clock ticking even though it wasn’t fully completed until the 16th…

Hoping everyone gets their orders in prior To the upcoming deadlines.

Yes, it is official that Hybrid order bank closes tomorrow.
That's what I thought. Dealership told me Ecoboost orders closes today (20) and Hybrids tomorrow. (21)

I think they have it backwards.

Hey guys new to all this. So if you got a confirmation for your order from Ford does that mean that the dealership did the required ROVP form. I gave them my ID and everything. Or do they still need to do it. Don't want to mess this up thanks everyone
You should be good. Looks like you have a good dealership!

Did the second dealer send you a “preview order” sheet?
If so, you can chat with Ford customer service and give the sales & order number and they can see if it is in their system.

With all the ordering going on for the 23 Maverick, has anyone had someone from Ford explain the reorder/rollover process if you ordered a 22 Maverick and you did not receive it? I've not heard anyone say that the reorders/rollovers will be built first or prioritized over people ordering for the first time. And I have not heard anything about the so-called "private offers" that Ford said they would make to people with 22 Maverick rollovers. Maybe I have missed this information in the threads. I talked to my salesperson about an hour ago and he did not know anything about either question. He did say that on a call with his regional manager this morning that they were told Ford that of the 15 orders they received for 23 Mavericks, Ford was only building four of their orders and that most dealers would only get a small percentage of Mavericks that were ordered through their dealerships. That's what prompted me to find out whether folks that ordered back in 22, had any priority.

I think partially it is Ford problem. They trying to separate from Dealership by keeping them in the dark. And they don't know all last minute details that ford "forgot" or "delayed" to mention. Some dealership still saying that no deadline. To me they just trying to keep a client. After a while waiting for a vehicle that not gona receive you they will offer you something from a lot, and you will be more than happy to take it.
I will be not surprised ifim few years Amazon will start to sale Ford vehicles. Mark my word.

There's no roll over of MY22 orders. Any unscheduled MY22 orders have to be re-submitted as MY23 orders. There is no roll over order priority. Priority is being set by the dealers - FORD has suggested that they give orders resulting from an unscheduled MY22 be given a priority 10 and 'new' My23 orders be given a priority of at least 11 so that the 'older' orders get looked at first. The private offer is communicated when the MY23 order is entered into the FORD system.

Anybody else having trouble accessing Ford Chat? I have gone on their website a few times today and in their "Contact Us" section where it shows Chat, there is no way to access the chat feature. Am I doing it wrong?

If FoMoCo has these emails on ‘boilerplate automated reply’, does that mean the successful order entries of this Short Duration 2023 cycle will receive a ‘Sorry, here’s your FITS voucher’ email in January?
