  1. Reports from a salesperson (low order numbers for 2024 Maverick)

i actually sold the car to webuyanycar dot com. The dealer was almost a $7000 lower offer with another dealer offered $9000 lower than webuyanycar .
  2. Reports from a salesperson (low order numbers for 2024 Maverick)

My new Corolla received extensive hail damage. Between almost receiving MSRP and insurance, I managed to secure a hybrid AWD Corolla with premium package for no additional cost, and fortunate to not have an auto loan on it. Also loving the 55-59 MPG. While I gave up the hybrid XLT Maverick...
  3. What a mess, Maverick is on its way!

Unfortunately, not true. I cancelled the other order but the order remains in Fords system. The dealer will just sell. If I could have cancelled both orders directly with Ford, I would have.
  4. What a mess, Maverick is on its way!

Yes, they are adding the $500 price increase but everything else is the same from last Septembers order that includes the tow hitch but nothing else.
  5. What a mess, Maverick is on its way!

After my last post of buying a Corolla after my circumstances changed, I cancelled a second order but left another in place that was not price protected, XLT Hybrid. While I have never received one email from Ford on this order I was contacted today and informed my Maverick Hybrid is on it’s...
  6. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

I did but unfortunately there was nothing available in my area. I also liked how the regular Corolla had moved over to the 2.0 liter engine which is more efficient. However, with the new engine now being standard, the mpg for highway mileage is very close to the hybrid and it would be closer to...
  7. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

if you are looking at the Corolla hybrid I would get on the dealers wait list as nothing was available here for several months. I also did the cost comparison between the regular and hybrid fuel costs for hwy mileage and it was anywhere from 7-20 years payback when taking account of all the...
  8. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

I noticed immediately the road noise under the front end was definitely noticeable compared to my 2013 Prius. Thankfully I only notice it on local roads which I drive on minimally. More than enough power with the upgraded 2.0 liter engine.
  9. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

Thats exactly what I bought!, and it turns out it didn’t even have AC that the dealer said was installed. I bought it from Ed Bozarths in Denver when they had dozens of them listed in the Denver Post etc with huge mark downs, a different time for sure. They even had an AC company install the...
  10. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

Surprisingly, the supply of regular Corollas are not what you may think! What I’m comparing is communication, shipping and transport times, and what a vehicle may come with as standard. Yes, it’s a Corolla that is the most reliable car in the US and has been around in decades, no one will be...
  11. Couldn’t wait on Ford any longer..

Ordered two XLT Hybrids from different dealers hoping to secure one based on all the allocation concerns. Shortly after ordering , I secured a new job and circumstances changed, this meant I needed transport as early as possible in 2023. With the price changes for 2023, I was looking at almost...
  12. šŸ“ (12/14/22) – 2023 MAVERICK AVAILABILITY MEMO Allows Order Switch From Hybrid to EcoBoost! + New Discount Package + Current Constraints Info

Sounds like a plan! I looked at the hybrid but nothing is currently available 😌. Based on highway mileage alone, it’s only a 2 MPG difference between the Corolla models and the gas only version is about $1700 cheaper. That said, I would still love another hybrid. Good luck as I did hear Ford is...
  13. šŸ“ (12/14/22) – 2023 MAVERICK AVAILABILITY MEMO Allows Order Switch From Hybrid to EcoBoost! + New Discount Package + Current Constraints Info

Due to a new job and limited updates from Ford, I ended up reserving a regular Toyota Corolla that delivers 41 MPG that arrived in CA yesterday from Japan, and should be delivered to the dealer within a month. While I would love to get my Maverick, I can’t keep waiting with no guarantee of...
  14. ā›”ļø Official bulletin: 2023 Maverick order banks closing on 9/20 (Hybrid) and 9/21 (EcoBoost)

Placed two orders for a XLT Hybrid with hitch only at two different dealers in Denver metro area prior to realizing it hangs up the orders as explained on this site. One had approximately 100 orders, the other with the $1000 deposit req appeared to have less than 50. Due to many reasons...
