No, that's from the self-reported orders here. So fleet orders would likely tip some more to XL. But point being the 15% XL number is likely less a 'constraint' and more 'Ford thinks approximately this many will be ordered'.
Maybe but I could see 15% being fleet alone, who knows though.

LOL. Tim did not look pleased himself how Ford decided to do the Maverick carry overs.

I don't remember all of your details but how does ordering with you guys work?
Can someone give me any details with ordering from Long McArthur?

They seem to know what to do, And this will be my first new vehicle order. I know it will take most likely 8-12 months to get and I'm OK with that. But I will need a new (or at least new to me) vehicle around that time and I DON'T want anything to go wrong with the ordering process. So I need a dealer who I can trust
It is pretty simple. Tim is at the auto show today so you probably won't hear back from him soon. He addressed it on his livestream last night; call the dealership, tell them you want to place an order for a 2023 Maverick, and they will have a salesperson call you. Once you talk to the salesperson and tell them what you want your build to be they will email you some documents and you are good to go.

Here is the video about how to order, queued up to the correct time in the video (starting roughly at minute 34 of the almost 2 hour total livestream).

Disclaimer: Since this video was published a while ago, the specific dates he mentions for when they shift from 2022 to 2023 production (and some of the rumored packages/options) are outdated, but the process he describes is still good/valid.

Is anyone else hearing these crazy constraint numbers? Holy moley!

Just jotting a few down as he says them. (backed up the stream a bit to catch the numbers again).

65/35% Gas/Hybrid - Not a lot difference from 2022.

XL 15% - Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!
XLT 59%
Lariat 26%

Moral of the story. Get a plain XLT if you want it fast(er).

XLT Lux 30%
Lariat Lux 25%
Tremor 8%
Tremor Appearance Pack 3% - Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn!

Black Appearance Pack 10%

CoPilot360 40%
CoPilot360 "Assist" 20%

4k Tow = 20% - Boooooooooooooo

Ready for crazy times?

Spray In Liner is 33%
Drop In is 20% - Am I taking crazy pills here? Spray in is LESS constrained than Drop In!

Bed covers are 3-10%, trays 2%, liners 3%, blah blah blah, pretty much same as 2022.

Splash guards about the same at less than 5%, etc....
This was posted earlier in the day already on the forum, but here are the constraint items he would've been reading from.

Are we supposed to get the special offer email? I have not gotten anything.

Don't think that is their plan. From the wording of the memo that went out to dealers, the dealer is supposed to reach out to the customer with the "good" news and details as part of the "do you want to put in a 2023 order for another chance at a Maverick" conversation.

I saw one person say they called Ford Support and was able to get the agent to give them their special offer code. Others have said they were told the offer is in Smart Vincent like any other incentive would be. Tied to the customer's name.

Well that sucks. I feel like Ford doesn't give a flying F about people that have waited for so long.

Yup. Ford is not run by "car" people or "people" people. It is run by lawyers and accountants. Have you ever met a lawyer or an accountant that give a damn about anyone else? It's all numbers and legal "cover your butt". Most dealers can be included in that motley crew, and are the closest to your throat.

you are the only one I trust to answer this question. When I finally do get to place a order for a Maverick whether it’s the 15th or another date, when the order is placed is my price locked in ? My salesman says price will be MSRP on the date the build is scheduled, but several people on this forum and Facebook keep telling me its locked in when order is placed.
Thanks
It should be. Ford will have your order date attached to your information. It's up to the dealer to select your protect date for the incentives and use your original price from time of ordering.

@fordvideoguy if you change from EB to hybrid will it reset your order priority? Or if you have an EB order and want to do the tremor package does that reset anything as well?

Did I understand correctly from your last two video's that the COVP is not being used for 2023 Maverick order scheduling or for calculating bonus allocations for each dealer?
Is the COVP of any value now, above showing you as the buyer, allowing you to pursue price protection?
Great video's always!!!

How do we lobby for Ford to hire Tim @fordvideoguy to head up Customer Relations? Truth be told, he's already doing the job Ford themselves should be doing. If nothing else, let him head up a weekly dealer training livestream that would be mandatory reviewing for all dealer sales managers.

So, going by the constraints in the video if I stick with hybrid XL I'm probably looking at a 2024?

We are pricing at MSRP based on 2023 prices with a $500 dealer fee. We are not requiring a deposit. Sales tax will be paid to your county tax office, we can finance that amount into your deal if you want and cut you a check or you can pay out of pocket but we are not required to charge sales tax. We will pay up to $1000 of shipping cost or travel expenses (if you want to fly in) if you finance with us at standard rates.
