No its just the front USB port. I checked all the fuses and they all seemed good. Turned back on the car and all of a sudden it works. Ill have to see if it stays like that.
How do you get the USB file? I went to https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/ and it shows my maverick is still on 22200 but it says its up to date.
I guess this is for non Lariat Mavericks only. I have had so many issues with Android Auto since day 1 and was hoping for an update to fix it eventually.
Yes it will steer into crosswinds. It’s been completely hands off for me on the Highway.
The ability to take my hands off the steering wheel and just pay attention makes long drives actually relaxing. You don’t have to keep holding the Steering wheel at all.
I think its great to be skeptical of any new technology. But I don't tend to buy things for what it could do in the future but what it does today. Openpilot on the comma 3x with just lateral control and stock Ford ACC is worth it to me. I could not trust Ford's lane centering, it likes to steer...
I’m 100% not mistaken.

You can read what cars use what. Openpilot defaults to ACC unless you toggle the longitudinal control alpha. The maverick is supported on that alpha but when you install it stock it uses Ford ACC.

You mount the unit on the windshield and you connect the camera harness to their harness. Then there is an Ethernet cable from the obd port to that harness. Wiring it up takes maybe 5 minutes. The mounting on the windshield takes the longest time since you need it centered on the windshield. The...
Comma 3x is the name of the device from comma.ai. It runs openpilot which enables some advanced cruise control features right now to make lariat mavericks with acc work like blue cruise. It also has some experimental stuff like Tesla fsd. You can learn more at comma.ai.
I just received my Comma 3x and finally got everything installed. Installation was relatively easy but getting it to work was quite more work than expected. Documentation for specific troubleshooting issues right now needs a bit of improvement.
I will be updating my experience over the coming...
My father and I picked up the Hybrid made 5/17 yesterday. Didnt have a recall even though it was in the recall range and we test-drove it didn't have any shuddering so I guess we will see if that develops as well. Waited 1.5 years and so far everything is ok.
Took a 1300 mile road trip from Houston, TX to Bentonville, AR for Bentonville bike fest. Got 24.5 mpg which was still better than the last time I took this trip in a different car but I was not expecting the MPG drop being that large from the roof box and rack. I took a trip to San Antonio from...
Jesus christ, my father's Hybrid was built 5/17 and is in transit. Its been 1.5 years already waiting for it and now Q4 would mean its going to get close to 2 years.
Looking at getting an adjustable bed rack option like the Elevate CS or the Yakima Overhaul HD. Are there any others out there that you guys recommend taking a look at? I want one that is well-built and easy to take on and off when I don't need it. Using it for the roof boxes and maybe a kayak...
I went with the Truxedo Sentry CT hard roll up with the elevate rails. I can remove the slats and have a totally open bed or roll it up and still use a tailgate pad. Won't be as secure but I will have to live with that I guess. I did actually like the gator cover except the water leaking and...
