Nor have you seen anything official from Ford that says it is the 15th. The only word from Ford is "September". The Fleet schedule does say the 15th, but that doesn't mean Retail will be the same day, and that may be just because they had to stick an actual date in.
Ford Dealer weekly updates are still showing Sept 15th to order a 23, and Sept 29 to begin scheduling 2023's.

For those who Plan on ordering the 15th if they open them up, is your dealer locking in the MSRP on that date, because my salesman is telling me the MSRP I pay will be what it is the day the truck is scheduled for production

Find another dealership.

Both local dealers I've been working with recently informed me they will be adding nearly $3,000 in "dealer fees" to ordered '23 Mavericks. Yes, I'm currently looking for another local dealer to work with.

My dealer will price lock my order with X-Plan at the time it is made. I agree with others, find another dealer.

My dealer says they will price-protect my MY23 at MSRP, but I plan to get that in writing in terms of a signed order form.

One thing this "new order process" has taught everyone on MTC is how the system works. The dealers that try to screw over people will not be around very long. We know as much as them now (some cases more)so go forth and get your FAIR deals!

Are they going to prioritize MY22 orders over MY23? TIA
I was told by. CS last Friday that my XL hybrid with no constraints did not have a vin.
Ford will send e-mail soon for me to contact my dealer salesman who will have rollover derails to re-order for my23.
9/12 dealers wili have these details for rollovers will take place for three days from 9/12 thru 9/15 then open up to new orders only until mid Nov then close ordering again for my23 to stay on top of avoiding long order wait time. This message will self destruct in 3 seconds and info will be disavoud.
Update: called CS today, now they say no e-mail from FomoCO will come. That without notice the dealer will contact me with detail...my salesman will not message a return call as yet. Told open ordering is Sept 15 to close out my23 end of sept....all this is sounding bad for Ford and customers.

Just heard the same thing today from CS. Disgusted with Ford. I ordered an Ecoboost and still can’t get it.

Visited my local Capital Ford and was told they still haven't been told a definitive date other than "sometime in September" but they sounded like they aren't confident it will open on time.

I watched a video with CEO Farley is where I got the information.
That would be great to see, I think I missed it. I guess I would think they would make more Lightnings than more Mavericks. With 200k Lightning reservations a year ago and probably that many more that would like to reserve.

I know the video you watched. Nowhere in the video did Farley say ANYTHING about a new Maverick plant, additional line in Hermosillo, or any other Maverick expansion. The only place it was mentioned was in the title of the video. Go watch it again and let me know where in the video Farley mentions an expansion of Maverick production. The closest you will find is the NARRATOR of the video claiming that Blue Oval City will include Maverick. Blue Oval City is not even built yet and the most aggressive timeline for opening is 2025. Sure to slip to 2026 or 2027 or.....2030 with the current construction market constraints we are seeing.
