  1. Dash center speaker rattle - update (good news - bad news)

No update. I haven't looked into the issue since posting. I think I might take the speaker cover off again and see if I can remove the speaker to see if that gives me any access to the area in question.
  2. Dash center speaker rattle - update (good news - bad news)

Nope. It actually sounds like it's coming from down in the vent in front of the speaker. Kinda like something fell down there during the build. I'm not giving up on finding it just yet.

  8. I think my Maverick is being deported!

Yeah, I had the same concern when my truck showed up on the tracker several hundred miles SOUTH of Hermosillo. Perhaps a full moon or the tides somehow mess with the tracker. Luckily, my truck was back where it should have been on the tracker several days later. Hang in there.

  11. The Train Ride from Hermosillo to NorCal: How long?

Two weeks from Hermosillo to dealer in Butte County. Much faster than expected. I called Ford several times and they were able to give me a somewhat accurate update. I knew it was in Richmond before my dealer.

  13. Pros and cons for the BAK revolver x4s

I love my x4s. Looks great and functions as designed. There is a small amount of water intrusion around the side of the tailgate but I plan to install a seal around this area, which should take care of the problem. I particularly like the ease of operation.
  14. With hybrids and EVs, will "passing down"/restoring cars become a thing of the past?

Looks like that may be changing in the not-too-distant future... Largest Lithium resource on Earth?

Congrats. The wait doesn't seem quite as long once you get it and realize how great of a little truck it is.
