I had that happen to me in June. My truck's mods popped this evening 10 weeks later. That may give you a time frame and hope...or not.
Chatted with Ford customer service and was told that my build week is still this week with a delivery ETA of 9/3….. little skeptical of that information, but we shall see

Question: My dealer messed and ordered my truck without the 4k tow package - and it was only discovered when the truck arrived.

I bought the truck because I had no option at the time.

Are they able to place my new order now if they wanted to?

Im a October order. Plain Hybrid XL. My dealer told me at the time of order that the less options you have the sooner you will get it. But that even with less options it could be 8 months or more. Well i now have a VIN and build day of Aug 25th. Been delayed 3 times now. But untill its sitting in my driveway its not really built .

We had 591 orders, 11 canceled. So out of 530 without the rentals which we gave a priority 12 instead of 10, we have 49 ecoboosts and 60 hybrids unscheduled still with 10 allocations left. So we should get down to 421 out of 530 that will get produced in 2022.
Thank, it is good to know that on the "is the glass half full or half empty" scale that around 79% of people will get the 22 Maverick that they ordered. You hear so much about the people that will get rolled over to 23 orders that it is easy to forget about how many people got them.

Do believe Ford cut off orders and could have produced them if supply issues did not worsen then they forecasted. In fact it seems like people are continuing to say things will get better in 6 months for at least 1.5 years and continues with easing in early 2023. We have all felt it and cheer people with hope and getting scheduled.

It means that your order will be considered before a priority 10 with similar equipment.
I have been at priority 2 for a while now. Dec order lariat lux so I expect to be a 23.

So MATH

421 / 530 = 79.4% scheduled or 20.6% unscheduled (109) moving to MY23

At 18 allocations monthly it will take over 6 months into MY23 scheduling just to get those 109 scheduled. :(

31 October Hybrid Orders left, 29 November Hybrid Orders left. 59 December Ecoboost Orders left (50 for a rental company), 40 January Ecoboost Orders left.
If my notes are accurate he stated in E26 that 328 of 531 customer orders were hybrids. Add fifty Ecoboost at priority 11 for a business and the ratio is to 328 of 581.
Hybrid: 328 total orders with 60 unscheduled, which works out to 82% scheduled.
Ecoboost:
203 total orders with 49 unscheduled, which works out to 76% scheduled.
(If you include the 50 rental orders, ecoboost did even worse)

Who would have predicted that hybrids were scheduled at a higher rate?
