Is there a way to track it once it leaves Mexico, or is that info coming from your dealer? No. My Maverick just arrived at the rail yard in Atlanta this morning. I'm hoping to pick it up early next week
Congratulations! Check your window sticker and see if there's any price increases. There were on mine. Now that Ford is wrapping the production for MY22, maybe the inventory of constrained parts are better than they thought. I hung in there and didn’t have anything removed and go Thais, this morning. Maybe Santa will deliver.
I just prodded my salesman and the guy at the status computer to see if they can ferret out anymore information about mine. Since I'm out of town right now, I can't make a personal visit, so I'll see what emailing them produces. I like the theory, although I'd just as soon my truck wasn't sitting out baking in the sun. IIWIIBased on the way the In Production and the Built dates tend to be the same date, I have a sneaking suspicion they're built, but sitting there just waiting on chips or whatever the restriction is. Much like all of those F-150s that are sitting there. Just a theory.
I got the rail car number from the dealership. Then I called Union Pacific until it got to Illinois and then CSX until it arrived in Atlanta. The phone numbers are in a thread in the order tracking forum. Is there a way to track it once it leaves Mexico, or is that info coming from your dealer?
Thank you sir!I got the rail car number from the dealership. Then I called Union Pacific until it got to Illinois and then CSX until it arrived in Atlanta. The phone numbers are in a thread in the order tracking forum.
Here is the section of the link I referred to in my last postThank you sir!
I installed the tailgate parts and it works as mentioned. Thanks for listing this and a heads up on taping the FORD camera and taping when fishing the line. The Ford part numbers of the switches I used are: LB5Z-9C888-G (SW8414) list price $40.18 and LB5Z-9C888-F (SW8415) list price $84.36 (prices on 05/02/2022)
Make sure to not get switches for Adaptive Cruise.
The power tailgate lock assembly is part number JB3Z-9943170-A (list price $74.29) and the wire harness is part number NZ6Z-14A412-B (list price $64.33), again pricing in May. Tip: tape the new wire harness end to end to the old wire harness to guide the new wire harness in while pulling the old one out. You'll see why.
Sorry for the delay in answering, been working long days on my 1957 Chevy after a complete strip down and a complete repaint. (check out the car in the "show case, other vehicles).
