My build week went from august 8th to august 1st to august 15th. All in a matter of about 6 weeks. Fairly straightforward, it's a silver XLT, AWD, 4K, with FS spare, and in cab 400W power inverter. That's it. No constraint items. Maybe it was pushed back a little bit to get to the people who have been waiting since before my december order date.

Don't know where you live but Rt 23 Automall in NJ gave me a great deal...
I used to live up in northeast N.J. Clifton to be exact. I left there 27 years ago for Abilene Tx. Took my 1 year old 1994 Chevy Silverado with me. I still have it. Not one spot of rust on it. No rustbelt here. My new maverick will likely last just as long. I used to work at Kosco Harley Davidson off RTE 23 in Pompton Plains. I wonder if it's still up that way?

Heres current pix of Betsy my 94 Silverado. Was special ordered by me new fully loaded and with a 5 speed stick shift. Shes got a 2"-4" bell tech drop kit, addco rear sway bar, a Hurst shifter, and dual exhaust. I de trimmed her, and removed all the badging . I wanted the silverado interior, with a Cheyenne exterior. Only way to get that was to buy a silverado, and get out the trash can when I got home and remove all the exterior trim.

And no she isnt for sale. I say this because everywhere I go with her, I find papers with phone numbers clipped to my wiper blades. A name for my maverick will eventually come to me. My friends at work have been calling it the silver buffalo. Kind of like the mythical white buffalo that the Indians would talk about but nobodies ever seen. Maybe the silver buffalo is an option. I dunno yet. I plan on an H&R escape lowering kit, some nice tasty looking wheels, and a bunch of mods when it gets here. If it ever gets here 🤣🤣🤣

Contact Granger, they might be able to make you PC99 and stop your truck from being selected for production.
Not really sure how this would benefit them. But I'm curious what they would say.

I, for one, do NOT want a '22 at this point.

Even with production expanding I doubt all MY22 orders will be fulfilled. It makes two of their customers happy by helping 1 postpone.
They’d also make more money off of Lariat Tremor.

That's awesome.... Means a car can actually be an investment. Here they rust out before you can really get the money out of them. And at 50K it's just stupid. We all have to drive cheap cars here in the north east.

My silverado is still original paint. I am considering two toning the paint at the upper belt line since I added the cowl hood recently.

I always had a winter beater up there. I would do 1 final oil change, and winterize my good vehicle, then in the garage and up on jack stands it would go until after spring rains washed the road salt away. I never drove my good vehicles in the winter. I kept my waste oil from my good car to running the beater over the winter. My buddy had an old postal jeep for winter, I had a 77 dodge aspen.

I will never again live in the rust belt. People junk stuff up there because its 10 years old and structurally unsafe. Down here its junked because it's just completely worn out. Not uncommon to see early 1990s chevy suburbans and pickups in decent shape in the bone yards around here with 450,000 miles or more on the odometers lol. Jap cars rust terribly up there. Down here it's not uncommon to still see mid 70s toyota pickups driving around lol.

Ok, sorry in advance but I don't have a couple of hours to read all the posts since the last time I was here. So I haven't been notified of a build date or whatever.

1) So as of Aug. 2nd I am suppose to re-order then correct?

2) Is Ford suppose to be sending me some kind of "special" deal or priority status on build?

3) Is Granger communicating with anyone right now or we just look up everything at the Ford website?

4) So we re-order our trucks for 23' models, any clue how long it will be until we actually take delivery of one?

Thanks guys

Order banks for MY23 was pushed to September.

If you’re not scheduled for MY22 and have to reorder you’ll get a special offer from Ford. It’s believed to be the difference between MY22 costs compared to MY23 with the same build but it’s all really just assumptions at this point.

Granger is communicating if you reach out to them for a status update on your MY22 order but they don’t know anything about MY23 yet. You can choose to contact Ford directly if you prefer.

No one can answer this.
