I really like the power version for ventilation while parked out to stop that wind noise with the windows down. I do not think I would get the same benefit from the manual.

I ordered it on my non existent XLT 22 . I really don't like it since it is so small . Why didn't they run it top to bottom so it would be more practical . Its the only option other than none .

I see you ordered the virtual Maverick model like I did.

Are you really supposed to use the sliding window to carry longer items? Seems like a great way to break a window.

I ordered an XL with 360, but did NOT add the sliding window.

I thought about it, but I liked the cleaner look of a solid piece of glass. Plus it's easier to clean window. If I had much use for it, then sure.

Yes I did and now we have to reorder . My salesman still thinks ford will roll it over like the Bronco .I told him he needs to watch Tim Bartz.

I ordered it... Didn't realize the opening was not framed with metal like all the other back windows in all the other Ford's I've had. Guess it'll be ok to put light objects through the window like wood trim pieces so long as a towel or something else soft is placed at the bottom to cushion the glass.

My sales person told me the exact same thing. "Don't worry about it, they will just roll it over". I will never get this thing.

It is tiny and not really possible to open from the front seat. I’ve only used mine a couple of times in the five months I’ve had the truck, but still think it was worth the small additional price. Have yet to use the trailer hitch either, but still think it was worth it too.

I ordered it thinking it would be essential for hauling long items. In the 5k miles I've driven the truck I have not used it. Instead, I put a bed rack on and carry long items on the rack.

It also obstructs some of the vision though the rear view mirror which is not great to start with. If I had it to do over, I'd give it a miss.

It really does help with the wind buffeting when open. Mine is power but if manual not sure I would take time to crawl in the back seat to open and close it every time I wanted to use it.

I got it because it was included in the CP 360 package on my XLT. I opened it once to see how it works and have not opened it since. It does have a full glass surround so I'd be careful using it as a pass through for longer items. Something light would probably be fine.

This video shows a Maverick with and without the back window so you can easily see the difference. I did not order one because it will affect seeing out my rear view mirror. For long items, a high rack that extends over the cab is safer and can hold a lot more lumber on your Home Depot runs.

I personally don't think it's worth it. More expensive to have tinted, and replace if broken also.

Many people don't know that to stop wind buffering noise while driving with the front windows open, all you have to do is slightly crack the rear windows about an inch.

If the Maverick was a single cab, then I would consider but it doesn't seem any different than driving a small SUV/sedan.

I had ordered it initially. Then I realized you can't open or close from the drivers seat. I have the moonroof instead which I really like.
