I got one too and Im scheduled for 5/23. I aint worried about it. Guessing a lot of people got it despite their status.

Came back here to link this email if there wasn't a thread already. I too got the email, I got my deposit refunded back in February and ordered a Subaru so this felt like a little bit of vindication.

For the record I did not drop the CP360 from my build before "cancelling". I'm guessing the dealer didn't cancel my order, can't blame them.

I saw some people got this email who already had a build scheduled so I'm hoping this mistakenly got sent to too many people.

I don't blame their procurement department at all. I am a production planner and we are getting 40+ week lead times, and things that should be here by now are getting delayed because of their suppliers. I'm over the daily shortage meetings. I can't even imagine what a big company is dealing with.

We'll see if I get an email, I was given a VIN a few weeks ago and a build week.

Thank you! I work in parts at a dealership and it is almost impossible to get certain things daily for any vehicle. I think everyone believes we are back to normal when we are still struggling! We had to find air filters and oil filters from other sources not to long ago! Who would have thought we would be hurting for something so simple!! I have a truck on order that because I will not change the order no matter what, will take for ever to get built!

At times I don't comprehend well though.

While the expectation is currently to get them all out the door, I'm subscribing to Murphy's Law: "If it can go wrong, it will."

That said, if everything goes sideways, Ford would definitely know if they can deliver all 22's within MY22 by June. They'll start deferring at that point, or risk last minute deferral and pissing people off beyond repair.

Just got this email. I am scheduled for week of May 23, so do not know what this really means. Apparently going out to everyone who has not yet received their maverick. Email says unscheduled will receive it. Not the case? Not too bright!!

Yes they could, except the Maverick would then probably start at $30,000 instead of $20,000. The Explorer for the USA is built in Chicago with expensive American union labor. As opposed to Mexico for the Maverick. Atop the higher labor costs, they'd have to retool the plant at extreme cost to handle the different size platform. And of course, retooling the plant takes forever.
