Picked up my truck yesterday (3% deal) and I have to say, easiest dealership transaction ever. Took care of all the financing ahead of time so I was in and out within 20 mins. No pushy sales tactics or pressure of any kind. Thanks Granger Motors!
@Granger Ford Do you know if you are expecting another load of trucks any time soon? Sunday was the last day of my shipping window and judging from those pics it doesn't look like mine made it there yet.
Obviously I don't work for Granger, but as someone whos truck is currently in the shipping process I can weigh in a bit. My truck was shipped on 6/15. It made its way to the US/Mexico border by rail where it sat for 10 days. Once it was on the move again, it made its way into the Kansas City...
Earlier in year didn't ford do away with sending out scheduling emails only on Thursdays? I was apart of the April allocations and my scheduled for production email came in on Friday. 4/29 to be exact.
36. I work in an engineering lab for a company that makes pumps and compressors. Also, 12 total years between active duty and reserves as an electrician in the navy and still serving.
I'm in the exact situation as you. In production since 5/31 and no updates. Even spoke with my dealer and Ford chat support. Both pretty much told me I am in production and had no additional details.
Mavs getting scheduled this month wont be built for awhile yet. My build is currently 'in production' since this week is my build week. My tracker never showed any update with any sort of dates either. If your build follows the same sort of timeline mine did, you should be 'in production' about...
Yikes, I feel for you folks waiting since June, but getting pushed seems to be the trend for most. I found out I was pushed another week haha. I cant even be upset at this point.
After chatting online with ford this morning, I found out my build week of 5/23 has now moved to 5/30. Wonder how many more times that will happen.
I was 37 last month and got scheduled this month for the week of 5/23. I'm guessing its because my build is an EB with no constraints. Removed CP360 back in Feb.
Gave customer service a call today and received a vin. Dealer confirmed a 5/23 build week. Mav details in signature.
Fords tracker wont accept my vin. Guessing I either wrote it down wrong or tracker is messed up. Try it again later I suppose.
I'm an Oct order as well with priority code 02. I think our place in line doesn't necessarily mean all that much if the items on our mavs are constrained. People behind you in line may get scheduled sooner if their build allows it. But obviously being towards the front of the line gives an...
Im not saying December orders aren't getting produced at all. I'm noting that it might take these Granger orders awhile to hit production or get a vin. And again, just my opinion on the matter. I dont really know shit lol.
About a month ago I was told I was number 50 on a list to get a VIN. You can see the details of my order in my signature. Fairly basic XLT EB. Unlikely any december VINs have been issued. But you never know with the way things are scheduled these days. haha.
