Why do people get mad that they are not scheduling for a week?
Not like it's going to get you built any quicker if they schedule week of May 2nd on 3/11 or 3/18.

Think of it as a week that you don't have to stress over not getting an email.
Your talking about a society that panicked over toilet paper, can't handle not getting what they want.

How the hell is Ford going to build all the remaining orders if they're not scheduling! Of course not knowing exactly how many retail orders there are does make it seem like time is running out for Ford!
good question, I called ford # did anyone hear this? they told me the cut off for anyone that ordered will be in a week or 2?? after that anyone that has a order in,as I did 10/21/21 and hve an email from ford confirming the order, wont get one?? my dealer said they have not been told that? I dont believe anyone anymore. see my post on fourms under florida for cut off of 2022. who knows??

Maybe Ford is redesigning their allocation system to give early orders the priority instead of the outdated dealer allocation BS. Wishful thinking from an early July order (6 July Area 51 XLT Hybrid w/Lux)

I was originally scheduled for the week of April 4th. Then moved back to the week of April 18th. Yesterday I got noticed that my build was moved back to the week of April 25th. The games Ford plays.

On the glass half full side, I believe this means they are NOT scheduling any "dealer stock" Mavs on week of 3/7. ;)

Am I living in an alternate world? Instead of more delays, things seem to be speeding up.
I received an order confirmation email from Ford Motor Company on July 21, 2021. I've had four different production start date emails since.
The first email on December 16, 2021 announced production was scheduled for February 21, 2022. Then, on January 26, 2022, an email stated the production date had changed to March 28, 2022. Been waiting so long it didn't seem like a big deal.
Then, things took a strange turn. On February 04, 2022, I received an email stating the date had been moved to March 14, 2022. OK, that's kool. But wait, there's more. February 11, 2022 another email saying the schedule had changed to March 07, 2022. So, Monday the 7th, there should be a Maverick Lariat with the Lariat Luxury Package and Co-Pilot 360 starting production.
Not sure what to expect.

I hope I am wrong. Just sharing my gut feelings.
Your gut can be confirmed or ignored by using some simple logic and common sense. If Ford was not going to schedule any more Mavericks, the chart last week would have said "Balance out scheduling", or some other "final week" designation indicating that this was the last week of production. Sort of like what you see for EcoSport on the chart in the first post of this thread. We have seen the "Balance out scheduling" before for other Ford models when they are closing out the build schedule for a model year.

We know that Ford plans to keep scheduling Mavericks well into the summer months. Them stopping with April build dates for the model year is just like.......not even a possibility. There are at least what.......4 full months left for them to schedule Mavericks before they have to shut down the line for a few weeks to prepare for the 2023 model year changes.

Edit:

Then there is this statement from Ford about a month ago....

Upcoming Planned Production Schedule:

March: 5,500 total (2,000 EcoBoost, 3,500 Hybrid)

April: 5,500 total (2,200 EcoBoost, 3,300 Hybrid)

May: 6,500 total (expected to be 55%/45% - 60%40% EcoBoost / Hybrid)

Since Ford is scheduling out about 6 weeks it really makes no difference, even if they do not schedule for the next 4 weeks.

The sad part is NO communication from Ford whatsoever. Next friday will mark 9 months for me. I WILL be sitting in front of my salesman again as I do on the 10th of every month to mark the anniversary of my order.
you need to look up the definition for the word anniversary.

hint: you haven’t even had 1 yet.

It's called Real Time scheduling as they receive shipments of parts and figure out exactly how many of each model they can build and when. You would like the alternative less...

I just want to know if/when my November Maverick is going to be built so that I can plan ahead.

Am I going to get it before my 8 year old car needs major repairs? If I'm not going to get it, should I plan on renting a car or getting a beater for a month or two? Should I cancel my order and order something that will arrive in a reasonable amount of time (I was quoted 4-6 months for a Kia before I ordered my Maverick).

The lack of information is driving my anxiety through the roof as I need a vehicle to get to work. I gave my dealer a $1k/4+ month interest-free loan. Least Ford can do is give me a rough timeline.

I just found out that my 2022 Maverick lariat fully loaded with every gizmo. You can get on. It was supposed to be starting its build in April, now I found out that it won't get built until December, probably January of 2023. My lease for my 2019 Ford fusion energy ends in April. I am trying to figure out what I'm going to do or if I should wait for it. I really want this truck but I'm in kind of a pickle.
