Nothing beats the thrill of running them off the road on foot, though!I've already practiced running them off the road and I don't even have my Mav.

I feel relief. Finally alone I can feel comfortable farting again.Anyone else get that feeling during a long road trip where the person who's been near you for hours takes an exit?

Nope. I only pay attention if the person traveling beside me happens to have a radar detector and suddenly slows way down.Anyone else get that feeling during a long road trip where the person who's been near you for hours takes an exit?

When I took an XL Maverick for a test drive many moons ago, the first thing that stuck me was that it felt like I was driving a car instead of a truck. I've always felt that Ford trucks drive and felt much better than other trucks, which have stiffer rides and boat like handling. So I'm happy that Maverick continues that great ride feel that I've come to expect from Ford.I think the SC is much more impressive in person, it’s only draw back for me is the bed, if it was just a little bigger it would be perfect. I like a vehicle that drives like a car but has a bed, I’m not going off road or towing anything big, the Maverick is cheaper and better gas mileage so that’s a plus for the Maverick, if it wasn’t for the bed size I would be looking at one.
Having not been able to sit in either vehicle, the SC looks a bit claustrophobic on the inside. I could be wrong on that, but the Maverick looks spacious in comparison from pictures. Anyone care to chime in on this?I think the SC is much more impressive in person, it’s only draw back for me is the bed, if it was just a little bigger it would be perfect. I wouldn't quite characterize the front seat as claustrophobic in the SC. But it's more cozy feeling. Cockpit-like. The back seats are claustrophobic, IMHO. And that's a little because of the actual space, but mostly because of the high sweeping sill line on the rear doors. So much less window space.Having not been able to sit in either vehicle, the SC looks a bit claustrophobic on the inside. Swanky, black leather lined dungeon. A BDSM chamber.
A "Swanky, black leather lined dungeon. A BDSM chamber."????? Maybe I DID buy the wrong truck!I wouldn't quite characterize the front seat as claustrophobic in the SC. But it's more cozy feeling. My kids hated the back seat of the Santa Cruz. And that was one of the differentiators of why I went Maverick. They described it as being in a coffin. Very dark and dungeony. Swanky, black leather lined dungeon. A BDSM chamber.
Some people might be into those BDSM chambers. Maybe Hyundai needs to come up with a SC model that has tacks on the seat for the masochists among us. Leather seats in FL is a big fat NO. Rips off the skin from the backs of your legs!
Maverick is very spacious inside, but I can't comment on SC since I haven't sat in nor do I ever plan toHaving not been able to sit in either vehicle, the SC looks a bit claustrophobic on the inside. That trunk/truck bed in the SC is only big enough to be really uncomfortable...especially if you're dressed in a latex gimp suit with a ball gag. The BDSM Version of the SC needs to come in all black only.
