I dont have my Maverick yet (imagine that), but it won't bother me, the wife's Expedition has it also so it won't be anything different for me.

Now here's a guy with all the essentials: a pen, tape measure, extra charging cord, some business cards held with a black clip (doubles as a small vice in a pinch), and extra cough drop, and some chewing gum. Working man, with dirt everywhere
There is. But sometimes it's nice to keep my eyes on the road while shifting--such as when checking mirrors while reversing.I don't have mine yet but isn't there an indicator on the gauge cluster?
Can you still put it into park before you turn off the truck just to be on the safe side ?Seen people complaining that the shifter does not have end limit, I don't think that is necessary bad. One thing I like about the shifter is that I never have to engage it to Parking mode since I can just turn the power off or open my door and the shifter automatically switch to P. I don't think the system can enable this if the shifter does have end limit.
Certainly canCan you still put it into park before you turn off the truck just to be on the safe side ?
It's likely the only design feature that I HATE.i would like to ask all, does anyone like the diel shift. i personally do not like it. so I am on a mission to see if there is a way to put a hand held shift like an f150. does anyone agree. thank you
I am in the older category (60's) and I absolutely love it!!! I love the extra space as others have mentioned. I also like the feel of the dial and it is so easy to use.
