My same build except for the color, also a September order.

Which of course means nothing, as we've learned from Ford's scheduling being an apparent lottery system, but good to see someone is scheduled!

Hope springs eternal! 'Cept for the FE and the hard roll-up on my Order, all the remaining appear to be the same, also entered in September.
Love it, great way to close out Friday. Take care.

I'm right there with you. I gave Ford the benefit of the doubt up until now. I realize the hybrid ramp took longer than expected, there are material shortages and realistically Chapman had a large backlog of orders ahead of me. To now see that the entire reservation/ordering process didn't mean jacksh*t when it comes to scheduling is what is so infuriating. My previous truck was totaled in September and I regret not buying something off the lot then, but was lead to believe it would only be a few more months of waiting. When I finally asked for some clarity from Chapman last night, this is the BS non-answer response I got...

"Ford does not schedule orders in any set format. They do not tell us who they will be choosing for production or specially what could be holding up someone’s build. The maverick scheduling is very similar to Bronco scheduling in that manner. We have a lot of customers in the same boat and it is very frustrating that Ford does not give us any answer as to why that is. We still have allocation and have mavericks being pulled every couple of weeks. So there is still opportunity for 2022."
The worst part is that I think what they told you is basically true. Pretty sure the only influence the dealers might have is setting your priority number to ensure certain of their customers are taken before others, but that the dealer set priority code doesn't affect who ford actually selects for production in a given week, only which of their allocations get built first.

The entire system is too opaque and if they want to continue with a custom order system they have to go to FIFO instead of by dealer allocation.

Ordered my XLT 2.0 and have been waiting since October, looks like some of you have waited longer, but I’m getting tired of waiting and dealing with Fords lack of communication. Most of the dealers I’ve talked to who have Mavericks are trying to sell these for 5-10k over MSRP which is complete BS. Might just go and buy a Toyota today. Good luck everyone, I hope you all get your trucks as I am very disappointed and done with Ford.

Same build, have Lux with DIBL - same date changes February 28th->21st—>28th—>March 31st. Suspect this trend may continue - hope not.

10 months!!!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!!! WOW!!!! If that is the norm, then I'm looking at August before I get mine. My order was October 9th. So if that is the case, will my vehicle be classified as a 2023 or still a 2022? New year models generally start coming out around August/September every year, right? Now I'm really confused. I heard that starting in August, Ford will start taking orders for the 2023 model. So I will be getting a brand new vehicle, straight from the factory, that is already a year old. Go figure.

Being assigned a build date is pretty much random. There are a few factors that go into it but none that the average person can decipher. I was one of the unlucky ones to be assigned this late.

Has anyone totaled the number of Hybrid / EB / XL / XLT / Lariat / Lux for this set of e-mails?
