Don’ the Dealer Order Guides get released about a week before the order banks open? Wouldn’t they contain such information?

Mine ordered and confirmed on 7/15/2022, so, a rational mine says - take care of what you got. Don't promise what you can't deliver. Hmmmmmm!

Here are the current anticipated dates for the model year 2023 Maverick.

August 16, 2022 -- Order bank opens for MY2023
October 24, 2022 -- Production begins for MY2023

Note: With these dates being several months away and the continually evolving supply and transport issues, they are of course subject to changing.

Extremely late considering they started taking 2022 orders on June 9th.

With this, BEST case scenario, if they somehow have no delays, the first batch of Mavericks would arrive MAYBE mid December.

But the chance of that happening is very slim. I'm thinking mid January. With the bulk not starting to arrive by the end of February.

...this is when my rolled over June 10th 2022 Maverick hybrid order will finally arrive.

My understanding is that you'll get price protection if your MY22 goes to MY23. However, I'm not an expert, but I saw one once on TV!

Is it really that attractive if your truck doesn't get in until a year after you order it? That's the most likely scenario. With little to no delays, BEST case scenario, the first batch of Mavericks 5-10%, get delivered before Christmas.

That's if there are no delays.

This is the only reason I would be happy about a push, I would change my color immediately.

CA required a deposit for ROVP, not sure if it matters how much, but I put $100 down.

If ordering starts as above, what date do you think MY22 orders will roll to MY23 and we will be able to review the orders for the MY23 updates. My guess is August 8th but have no real idea or experience @fordvidioguy

Update later update guess to 6-8+ weeks as scheduling seems that far out and then work from Oct 24th, which would be Aug 29th to around Sept 12th as time for adjusting orders. Ford probably can easily make these go out before orders from Aug 16th on.

I have said many times I don't mind if mine gets bumped to 23, but this could cut both ways. They could remove your favorite color. They could remove an option you really wanted.

Price protection or not, I won't be happy about de-contenting or color changes being forced.

If Ford says they are going to be producing MY23 Mavericks beginning Oct of 22, that tells me they are going to at least TRY to produce MY22 until September.

Heres what I believe - LOL - Ford is expecting / hoping that by October the chip and supply chain issues are over. From all indicators and interviews they say this second quarter 22 it will improve greatly. Tim Bartz shed some really interesting numbers the other day on number of orders. The majority of orders were from June and July if his 500 orders are the indicator. Because of backlog there will be some late orders rolled to 23 but most will be produced. For all the folks wanting to then decline their order and order a 23 the dealers will have more stock, ADM's will go back to 'normal" and hopefully either way folks can get a truck. Thats my hope anyway

Order guides are normally released the day of the order banks opening, though sometimes come out a day or two early or a day or two late.

The last day of production for MY22 Mavericks will be Oct 20/21st depending if the plant is open on Sunday. The okay to ship date is 5 days after no major problems have occurred.
