Sort of, guess it depends on the lens.

I’ve dealt with some pretty straightforward dealerships in my time that come through. One of those is Cowboy Toyota in Dallas.

It sounds like you have to be persistent and informed here to not get taken advantage of?

But I guess that goes across a lot of dealerships.

2.8% isn’t terrible, but at 60 Mos on 25k that’s 1,800(vs fords 0 if you qualify)

that with transport washes out the savings
I believe this deal was an oversight by our sales manager. Our finance manager doesn't handle the rebate portion and i believe Ford recently came out with a 0% incentive we weren't aware of at the time.

We have a lot of customers who have purchased from us and while we're not perfect, we do our best to do the right thing.

I'm really not sure how the maverick will be handled. The reservation system opened up, then they transitioned quickly to orders. Once the truck started hitting the lots, the orders came in very quickly. From my understanding Ford believes they will be able to fill all current orders or close to that, I'm sure depending upon commodities, in the 2022 model year. How that will be allocated I'm not sure. On other vehicles 40% of the allocation is based upon retail orders and 60% is based upon historical sales. With the maverick being a new line, I'm not sure how it breaks down.

The bronco was a different animal with the reservation system and Ford has changed that 2 times already. I don't believe that's a fair comparison. But we certainly haven't cleaned out our orders for the Bronco.
Would you be willing to share:

ordered broncos:
Customer received:
Remaining open orders:

while this won’t be the same story for the mavericks, curious.

thanks

We have everything submitted. We're waiting for approvals.
Does this mean that even though an order was submitted in time and a confirmation e-mail was received from Ford, the order might not actually be accepted?

Essentially yes, Tim Bartz has mentioned a few times that just because you received a confirmation email from Ford does not mean that the process was done correctly. A friend placed an order through Chapman well before the deadline and received an order confirmation from Ford almost immediately. The day of the deadline for entering everything in the system (Feb 2nd I think) a representative from Chapman contacted him to submit a copy of his license and address details which leads me to believe that his order had not been official until almost a month after he received the order confirmation from Ford.

This is correct. I have also seen the same.

With out getting to specific, how many... Let's say, annoying phone calls, do you field per week. "Just checking to see if my orders updated." A simple yes shall be taken to mean "many." Speaking of that, can you please set my priority to a 10. Thanks

Did it work yet?

these would be interesting numbers to share. Past does not always predict future... but some portion of it can be used as a bellwether.

Maybe they got all the allocations from the 10% of dealers that Ford said would PAY for their shenanigans because Ford knew who they were????
Ford will do nothing about the 10%. 100% of the dealers in SoCal (at least 10) have changed nothing.
