Just wondering if any of you that placed orders with granger got a scheduled build yet ?

reason I’m asking, I called a nearby dealership and they gave me a bunch of (what I think) is bologna.

they said it’s not possible for granger to do that and that all of their orders will get cancelled. I sighed 🙄

With that how many of you folks are scheduled so far ?

don't think they've finished with completing ROVP for those orders. Even with that done you won't see or hear anything until summer assuming everything goes well.
edit: they finished with ROVP and now we wait for eternity.

I also have an order in for a Bronco (not sport). When I contacted Chapman about placing an order they were super honest and realistically told me that between their allocation and all of the orders for Broncos they have at under invoice pricing, it would probably be 5-6 years before my order was fulfilled. No joke. I contacted my local dealer that I ordered my Maverick with (ordered 1/5 and scheduled already) and they told me maybe 2 years with their orders and allocation. It could very well be true......

No offense to anyone in here asking for documentation to the moon, but once you have your confirmation from Ford isn't that sufficient?

Sure there are horror stories about random dealers pulling !@#$ on their customers, but as a customer of Granger that took ownership in October I'll say you don't have anything to worry about.

One truly bad experience would undo a LOT of goodwill garnered by Granger (and the other couple of volume dealers) - I expect anyone buying from them will have an overall positive experience (I'm only commenting about my experience here because it was one of the top ones I've had after 20+ vehicle purchases).
No offense taken and I have no doubt my truck will arrive unless Ford does a lot of cancelling or something else outside of Granger's control. I just find the process easier to follow with a documentation trail. I've got my email from Ford and the folks at Granger have always been professional and helpful.

I think I saw where they said they had all of the ROVP's done; sometime in the the last day or two...

I talked to Chapman as well. They were extremely nice. I’m wayyyy on the other side of the coast so that’s why I didn’t end up going that direction

Ended up going local as well. I just wanted to see if anyone has orders scheduled.

I mean I would totally wait a bit longer for 3K off, but 5-6 years… we will have wayyy different cars by that point.

We have everything submitted. We're waiting for approvals.

Ford believes they have 2022 production sold out on the Maverick. We've delivered 20-30 Mavericks so far with roughly the same amount in some state of production currently. With our recent influx of orders, that should boost our allocation for the remainder of 2022.

Chapman kicked butt to start on their deal and ordering so I believe they've received more allocation so far.

that sounds great.
I’ve heard somewhat mixed reviews on this and would love to get your take on this.

what I’ve heard is that the allocation system gets boosted for dealer orders(20+ P codes), but the allocation For custom orders still work in a fifo method (pending what complete kits that ford has)

Reason I’m asking -
I may sit out this current order out with local dealer and just order from you in summer for MY23 (if you run a similar offer)

the nearby dealer also mentioned that you ran a similar offer for the broncos. Any data you could share on whether you’ve cleared out that bronco backlog and if you saw allocation boosts with mass orders?

thanks again

Lastly, if you look at most dealer sites.. you will notice that “in transit” is automatically posted for inbound vehicles.

Just browsing your site, you notice many in transit, but none of them are mavericks.

(Based on your commentary for allocation, I would expect to see a lot more mavericks inbound when comparing to other ford dealerships)

My guess is that maybe you don’t show inbound customer cars ?

curious on some color there if you have a minute.

They were a top seller of Broncos last year from what they had disclosed. I think if they had pissed off a lot of people you would find that posted somewhere. It's a little dealership in Iowa, and even some of the big names in Southern California have heard about them so that means something.

All I have heard from the beginning when I ordered is at least 6 to 9 months wait.

I am just as impatient as everybody else comes up literally we gotta get them some time to start working through all of this. Plus, it is all a moot issue at this point anyways. You can't order until the summer, so there is nothing to do but wait and see.

It's funny the people here complaining about their 20-36k Maverick orders being delayed. Go over to the Bronco6G forums and look at some of the wait times there for 50-60k Bronco builds. Delivered within a year would be a dream for some members there. But yes, they were being honest and said that they had an unbelievable amount of Bronco orders and obviously only get so many allocations each year.

Yeah you are right. I actually just did that in the meantime.

I found people waiting 15 months for a bronco from grainger, but there is a chance that they are getting cars faster now, I hope..

Also came across this, which I assume is how they make a good bit of money back?
