To answer @TobyGadd's original question mine which is an XL with a 2.0L ecoboost engine is set to xxxx-xxxx-xx72. I tried xxxx-xxxx-xx73 and it threw a checksum error. I'll update main posted accordingly to make note of that difference.
Yeah, my typo threw this for a bit of a loop. But once I realized that the checksum wasn't right, I went back to figure out why. Took me a bit to figure out what happened. I guess that why checksums exist. ;)

Thanks for updating the original post. I wish that other threads on adding cruise control would clean things up as well, since there is a LOT of misinformation out there. But at least this one is solid--especially the ABS update.

I don't know where you came up with this but I can say on the 4k tow package there is no TBC module and mine has a factory installed electric brake.
I don't have a Mav yet and only found two post of FORScan connection logs to go by. The TBC was a guess. Please post your FORScan connection log and I will update the table.

Thanks for verifying and testing my discovery. While it might not be immediately apparent what the difference(s) may be, I suspect that Ford didn't arbitrarily make two settings for the same function.

@Maverick2022XL, you might want to update your post to reflect these new findings?
All the first 6 digits in the code don't necessarily correspond to one setting. Some XX are A and B, A or B, A only, B only, etc. the xxxx-xxx0-xxxx and xxxx-xxx1-xxxx may not correspond to cruise control but it does to something. Without Ford's official documentation or possibly their IDS software it is all trial and error along which one of these kid's is not doing their own thing .

No need you have all the modules covered for an XL including what is needed for the 4K and Copilot 360 package.

OK, so does FORSCan call the 4K trailer brake module TrlrBM instead of TBC? Thanks.

I'll be nice and save you some time.

Look under the module list then go cross reference the module register addresses against specific builds using VIN numbers at
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Not all those modules will be used on Mavericks. This is the way to whittle down that list into your own spreadsheet. There may also be a module or 2 on the Mavericks that aren't on the F150 list.

Now, we just need to figure out what BCM 726-16-03 is for. Different on hybrid XLT than hybrid XL. Seems unique to Maverick?

One module for sure that is on Mavericks that is not on F150s is the AWD aka all wheel drive module that one is at module address 703.

Another one that differs is the BECM. The non hybrid battery control module on Mavericks is called a BECMB instead and is at module address 723. Then there is the battery control module related to the electric portion of hybrid trucks that is not on the F150 list.

Why and to what ends is that needed for cruise control?

I came across it while working on cruise control for my hybrid. It could be associated, but I can’t tell. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a set of the switches or know a parts counter that either does or is willing to order it for me? My local dealer won’t place the order because the 8576 switch is backordered

I’ve placed an order. Hopefully it doesn’t get cancelled like one I’d placed at another dealer’s parts website.

I bought my switches new at

https://parts.ford.com

It shouldn't matter what dealer you pick since the part ships from parts.ford not the dealer picked.
