With the experience I have with my transit and other reports where the vehicles just won’t start…. I wouldn’t be putting money into the remote start system. I’d just keep using the app.
My suburban has two on the roof. Balances out that odd looking single offset antenna.

I was told long ago by mechanics at a Ford dealer that brake fluid absorbs moisture. I don't know enough and haven't researched it throroughly to know how accurate that is but it sounds plausible as pretty much anything absorbs moisture.
Having 0 knowledge about importing vehicles (but in the transportation field) and I may be talking out of my ass right now... I would think they'd be by rail. If they unload any vehicles it'd probably have to go through US customs so it'd make sense to just keep them on the train til they get...
