Yeah, can't touch either of those other above mentioned for the price of a Lariat with same equipment! Loaded out that is....I was in the market for a Tacoma or Ranger, and ended up with neither.

In New Jersey, any Pickup is considered a truck and must be registered accordingly. Same goes for Pennsylvania also where my son has his.uhhhh!!!! you are in Puerto Rico. Not necessarily the same as mainland USA. Given that even states have leeway in what they call vehicles. Some say a trailer is a vehicle some do not. So it is officially a truck in Puerto Rico.
Not only on the Ford.com website is it listed under Trucks but the window sticker lists it as a Super Duty.If you go to Ford.com the Maverick is listed as a truck. The only "car" Ford makes is the Mustang. So if the manufacturer calls it a truck, I will call it a truck. It's bigger than the Mazda pickup I had 30 years ago and the Mazda was a truck.
Yes, given that is the case, some Mavericks are hybrid hybrids.Wait a minute, if it is a cross breed between a truck and a car wouldn't that = Hybrid?? Hmmmmmm?![]()
Picked mine up today and took the Mrs out for a spin she said she thinks she wants to trade her new Subaru in and get a Mav!I don't care what others think. Whoever at Ford thought this truck up is a genius. I wasn't even in the market.
So you are talking about duck truck! If it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it's duck. The Mav is a truck.![]()
Always has been. On my Texas registration, it say's 'truck'.To all nay sayers the Maverick is a certified bona fide truck. My local Ford dealer had originally given me a license plate for a car, minivan, or SUV. Our Transportation Authority said that was in error because my Maverick (an XLT with the FX4 and tow packages) is a truck and must have a truck license plate. So, my latest mod is substituting for the truck license plate. Yes!
McTruck for meI call mine a UTE.
Heck mine says "commercial vehicle", even though I don't have commercial plates or registration. All trucks in my province as listed as such.Always has been. On my Texas registration, it say's 'truck'.
How very Oceania of you.I call mine a UTE.

Yes, given that is the case, some Mavericks are hybrid hybrids.
So, it's a hybrid duck truck hybrid? Which box do I check on the registration form for that?So you are talking about duck truck!
