I did just that, used a 7 pin adapter, but then added a wireless brake controller, and +12VDC for the brakes, from the Mav's bed. Zero truck alterations required. I'm going to post some pictures, part numbers, and lessons learned this weekend to this thread.

I got a 2-wheel drive 2022 hybrid. Is the 2023 4-wheel drive? Why did the hybrid make so much less mileage when towing?

Love the color! Was high on my list for color choices. Also love the camper. I'd be perfectly fine with something this size, but wife insists that we have to have one w/interior plumbing, an since I didn't opt for the 4K pkg. most options are off the list.

My 2023 Lariat Hybrid arrived back in late March, have 4k miles on her, and no complaints. Recently moved and full size couch was no problem! (with good ratchet tie downs). The B&O stereo is excellent.

She towed a 1500 lb. camper on a 1,000 mile trip, no issues at all, gas mileage was half, about 18 mpg through the mountains, which is still much better than the Tacoma was. I have tips on how to wire the lights, and the brakes, let me know if interested and I'll post them.

Got to love the CO! I’ve had mine since April. Bought it used with 666 miles at signing. Has BAP, AWD, SIBL, Hitch and have added hood struts, tailgate assist, window tinting, retractable bed cover and some interior things like front seat covers, knob highlights (orange, of course) steering wheel cover (Napa leather), screen protector, nets for the bed and replaced almost all the bulbs with LEDs. I just got the mud flaps but haven’t put them on yet.

With my Hybrid last week I tried to put a pallet of red lava rocks in the bed from Lowes but the squat scared me so much as the forklift was putting down the pallet I waved it off. Instead, I loaded half of the bags and made 2 trips. It was only 5miles each way so no biggie. Judging by your squat, I probably would have been fine.

Assume running on ICE more due to (weight/speed) and terrain/environment. AWD is only available on the ICE version regardless of model year

I have been using my hybrid Maverick XL for work since I got it last week. I still need to get ladder racks and a bed cover but in the mean time she still hauls like a champ!
