Y’all. October.
If ya get it sooner, awesome.
Granger is a passenger on the Ford river boat cruise, going up the Colorado River, too.
Yes, we will need therapy.
Perhaps the Admins can cordon off a little area for sub threads?

We have submitted all ROVPs by the deadline. Now we're waiting for Ford to approve. It could take a few days.
Thankyou Zach and the whole Granger team!

All of us appreciate your hard efforts on our behalf, hopefully the team can catch a little down time to recover!

This pending ice/snow storm is kind of making me wish I'd jumped on this deal instead of waiting to order a hybrid. Always seem to get at least 2 or 3 storms that are AWD worthy each year.

That feeling might go away when the storm moves on!

I just wanted to reach out and say a thank you to Granger Ford for this deal. I am optimistic that the whole experience with delivery will be good as well. This will be my first purchase of a new vehicle through a dealer. I was on the fence but decided to go with it after the $3k off.

I went with the XL, AWD, 4k tow. I plan on using this truck as a "starter" truck to see if it fits my needs before possibly upgrading to a larger one at somepoint. I also want to go deep into modifying it as well with ForScan.

Will we see something in an email from Ford or Granger Ford when approval is granted (or not)?

Thanks for burning that midnight oil and getting the ROVPs in on time.

No offense to anyone in here asking for documentation to the moon, but once you have your confirmation from Ford isn't that sufficient?

Sure there are horror stories about random dealers pulling !@#$ on their customers, but as a customer of Granger that took ownership in October I'll say you don't have anything to worry about.

One truly bad experience would undo a LOT of goodwill garnered by Granger (and the other couple of volume dealers) - I expect anyone buying from them will have an overall positive experience (I'm only commenting about my experience here because it was one of the top ones I've had after 20+ vehicle purchases).

So am I understanding "allocation" correctly in that Granger might not have enough for all of our January orders to get built for MY22?
No one's knows

Ive never bought from them before but I feel confident they know what they are doing on these orders, far more than the dealers around me. When you have 300+ orders in a few days or whatever it is you got alot riding on it and should be very transparent since everyone is in the same boat that ordered on this forum.

Agreed. I'd also known they were doing a similar initiative for their Bronco sales. What I didn't know until it was mentioned while I was there, is that they are the #1 volume Bronco sales dealer in the US! This isn't their first rodeo.

Interesting where do I find one of these auto transporters?
I am also curious about transporters that people have used that they would recommend, seems like uship is just a middle man. If I dont get a warm and fuzzy may just do a fly n drive.

Granger probably can recommend a reliable shipper.

They reccomend Uship. Coming to Maui I already have to put it on a Pasha boat. They wont give me a quote till I have a VIN though. My guess is $1500 to the coast. I recently paid $800 for a non-op from Tucson to the coast. 4 years ago paid $650 from Long Island NY to Dayton OH. There are alot of what they call "hot shot" drivers who run f350 and the like with a car hauler trailer and 2-3 cars on it. They bounce all over the country and are usually who all the companies like Uship call. However they do advertise locally near their home bases, check out truck stops and craigslist, aswell as local directories. You may find em on a Google search but sifting through the bull would be a pain in the ass. Usually you find a dispatch company that runs orders for a couple dozen drivers. There are several middle men in this process to keep you as far away from the driver as possible, but each middle man take about $100 off the top. Basically search hard or pay.

I have used Uship several times...last time I used SGT Transport and they did a great job. I would still consider booking through Uship so that you may have more recourse if something is damaged. Just my opinion though. Best of luck with your Maverick order.
