ROVP doesn’t mean you will get your truck this year anywayWould also be happy to see ROVP confirmation.
But no ROVP means you certainly won't get your truck. Ever.ROVP doesn’t mean you will get your truck this year anyway
I haven't been on this wagon for long, but I don't exactly see Granger as the epitome of communication. That having been said, I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth if they can actually pull this deal off.Anyone else get the feeling we are about to get told by Granger what options Ford wants to remove from our order to get built this year? I basically selected one option, 4k towing, so maybe they can get that one done...
I think this applies to 99% of threads on this site in general.Note to Granger staff.
Shut this thread down and start a new channel for communication on progress/process with people who have deposits down. Maybe something private, like a private FB group. Otherwise, the whining, pouting and endless conspiracy theories will make your dealership look bad, no matter how professionally you handle this.
Note to Granger staff.

Hmmmm, sounds like more whining to me..just saying.I think this applies to 99% of threads on this site in general.
You realize, of course that they have the email address of every person who put a deposit down? Not hard to BCC all.Note to Granger staff.

No one understands the proprietary allocation process. Maybe not even ford.So am I understanding "allocation" correctly in that Granger might not have enough for all of our January orders to get built for MY22?

The first rule of the allocation process, is not talking about the allocation process.
Pure speculation on my part, but yeah I personally don’t believe they will have enough
Before the word about possible package constraints hit I changed my build to XLT AWD w/CP360 dropping the Lux and FX4 packages. I'd hate to think it won't get built but my pessimism is fierce right now...I have no plans to complain or spout conspiracy theories. I'm hopeful that my order will be built, it is quite simple (XLT AWD w/ CP360) and perhaps that will bump it closer to the top in Ford scheduling. If it doesn't get built perhaps one of my others will (I put in 3 total at 3 different dealers). If car prices are still where they are when my order from Granger arrives I'm going to buy it whether or not I already have a Maverick from one of my other orders. Then I will decide which to keep.
